Release the movie in North Korea by sending in DVD's via balloon.

"leak" the movie on P2P networks like MeGa UpLoad with a call to action for a donation. I'd pay $2-$5 for shits and giggles.

Tim Budong 12-17-2014 08:04 PM

Sony should release the movie immediately on the internet...

Why Sony Pictures should release The Interview online | The Verge

hahaha

Culture_Vulture 12-17-2014 08:10 PM

fuck, they should just release it for free, I'd even pay $11.99 to download it, just to piss whoever doesn't want me to see it off.

there's no evidence that it was North Korea I hear except circumstantial where the computers used to do the hacking were linked to previous accusations against North Korea

also the media keeps reporting that Sony isn't releasing the film and giving them flack for it but it was the major theatres in North America which refused to show it

Some chains wouldn't show it due to the threats, but Sony later pulled it completely. Theatres can't show it even if they want to. And regarding North Korea being behind it:

U.S. is set to blame North Korea for the Sony hack - Dec. 17, 2014

Edit: official FBI press release

FBI ? Update on Sony Investigation

Quote:

As a result of our investigation, and in close collaboration with other U.S. government departments and agencies, the FBI now has enough information to conclude that the North Korean government is responsible for these actions.

Dr. Evil's spoof of the North Korean dictator and Sony : :lawl: (starts at 0:41 mark of the video)

willystyle 12-21-2014 03:50 PM

Their evidence to prove that North Korea was behind the recent hacking was due to a few line of codes used in past hacking attempts from NK.

Seriously?

These vulnerability and exploits are widely available and shared among the hacking community online. Just because you use a certain exploit, it does not mean it's from NK. Lol!

Talk about quick to the jump the gun.

We don't know precisely what evidence they're using to form their conclusions

We will never find out.

I'm just saying that based on the evidence of what they've gathered and presented to the public. It's way too insubstantial and convenient to point fingers at North Korea.

RRxtar 12-21-2014 08:48 PM

Isnt best Korea denying responsibility now?

ImportPsycho 12-21-2014 10:05 PM

Everyone's talking about this movie
Guaranteed box office hit if they release it.

Again we don't know, so there's no point in speculating. I'm not sure why you think they would baselessly blame NK for doing this anyway

Godzira 12-22-2014 09:14 AM

so they're releasing it now..?

publicity stunt or what!?

Expresso 12-22-2014 11:33 AM

There are many reasons, but I will not get into it here as its beyond the scope of this subject.

This is not a Political forum, you should know better since you're a mod. Furthermore, questioning an official statement does not make an individual a conspiracy theorist. That term is way too loosely thrown around.
