http://i.imgur.com/XSO6JFN.jpg?1 finally got my new accord to swap parts over to. 92 accord exr without the guillotine seat belts and it loaded with a working sunroof, power windows and doors and AC. car also runs amazing for something that has 450,000 kms LOL its needs a few things to be fixed up and credits to GEOC, KROSS, and SLICKRICK for helping me get the car :alonehappy: cant complain for a car that I paid $400 for :lawl: edit: also for $400, i got a alpine 6 disk cd changer with a deck/amp and sub all wired. not bad for $400 car LOL Spoiler! |
Honestly i've been debating on the CR wing for quite a while now, but i think i'm going to eventually look for a different front bumper. |
https://scontent-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...f7&oe=559F549A https://scontent-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...33&oe=55709285 Spoiler! Just picked up today, 1988 560 SL. From an era where Mercedes still built cars to last. Unrestored condition, just a hair under 120k kms. Recent engine rebuild, just looks so minty under the hood and drivetrain is silky smooth. Undercarriage looks great too. Car needs an alignment pretty badly but the brakes and overall drive are excellent. I love the wafty power delivery and the transmission is so buttery with no jerkiness whatsoever. Interior/Exterior is probably a 7.5/10 but it's nice to have a classic car where parts are abundant, easy to get this back to a 10/10. Everything power works (heated seats, power antenna, power mirrors, power locks, power windows), softtop in pretty good condition but man is the hardtop a pain to remove/put on. Door slam is to lust after. Previous owner (in his 70's) had a stroke and no longer has a driver's license for that reason so the car hasn't really been driven in the last 6 years. Can really feel he adores the car and would love to be behind the wheel. Can't wait to get collector plates for it as it is quite expensive to insure even with full discount and pleasure use, also the new plates just don't look right on this era of vehicle. It should make a great daily driver/cruiser and I'm happy to have something that looks/feels classic enough but doesn't need to be babied. I don't think my camera really does it justice :S |

that is way beyond madness. Luckily S50B30 and B32 wasn't easy to find back in my day, or else I would be living in the alley in these days. |

Me and my wife were admiring one of those a few days ago while we had lunch. Very cool older lady driving with a big smile. Classy cars for people who like being behind the wheel. Congrats on a very cool purchase. |
