Ya, it does alright.

The exhaust is all custom... headers come from a GB on the MR2oc, custom made y-pipe, and a KO Racing exhaust that is modified to fit.

It's usually out at the UBCSCC autox events in the summer, in fact I will be there on Sunday.

The only car that made me giggle like a 7 year old girl, is that one. Made me hate driving my 4 cyl back home though LOL.

The 2GR hauls ass in a Rav, I can't imagine how much fun it is in an MR2. I'd love to have something 2GR or 1/3MZ powered.

These days I don't think it's worth your time to bother with the MZ engine.

From my understanding an MZ is the cheapest of the 3 and fits into a Celica a lot more easily, but for an MR2 the 2GR fits a lot more easily. I could be mistaken though, either way the 2GR is by far the best of the 3 engines to have if for those with the ability to get one in.

Installed my Uras replica bumper and Seibon carbon hood today, and spray bombed it black (the bumper, not the hood lol). It doesn't look terribly amazing, but it'll do for now. A few more things to do (new exhaust, radiator, electric fan conversion, new oil cooler hoses, and new tires) and hopefully she'll be ready for after exams!
