Just deporting her stupid ass is too easy on her, she should have served far more time and then been given the boot.

I feel bad for her daughters, anyone who acts like this because their brother/sister (in-law to boot) had a son and they didn't is going to be a shit parent to their daughters. I really hope her husband divorces her and takes custody of the kids for their sake.

She should be deported and her kids raised here by someone that can actually handle raising children. If I were her husband I'd be quick to take the kids out of what could be a very harmful situation.

The 4 months jail sentence is a joke!

Every time that I hear crazy news like this, I think of that movie Law Abiding Citizen.

The injustice of the justice system. -not saying that people should become vigilantes to impose their own form of punishment in response to the failure of the legal system. It can happen though.

If you are a parent who sees this happen to your child, what would you do?

On a lighter note, my mom and I were discussing this when I dropped my kid off so I could run some errands today.

She told me, "You can't trust anyone, even family nowadays, to watch your kid."
I replied, "Soooo, I should check the ears for superglue when I come back?"

She wasn't pleased with me.

im not an immigration expert but i remember reading about this guy who wasn't a citizen and got convicted of a trafficking charge. I think the article said to get deported, the sentence has to be a year or longer?? Anyone know anything about this?

It was some Indian dude involved in a street racing accident that ended up killing a middle aged women. I think the court only awarded a house arrest or some other ridiculously light sentence on the guy, and he was even allowed to go to school or work (or something along those lines). But then the public uproar continued on, and the immigration department found some legal ground to deport his a$$ back to India since he was only a permanent resident, but not a full fledged Canadian citizen yet.

I'm all going off on memory here, and if my Google search skills don't suck as much as they did, I would have googled up something more useful.
