Balls seem to be freezing on me since yesterday lost a squirtle and pigeotto cuz didn't save now

I KNOW! My neighbour thinks I am crazy now. I was trying to capture a pokemon in their drive way. They came home so I let them in and starts pointing my phone at heir car (was trying to capture the pokemon). Smile and told them I caught the Pokemon and went home.

i have two pokestops reachable from my apartment. sometimes people lure one of them so it's not bad :)

also theres a triple lure about a 3m walk from my place. the always keep them going.

What's the best way to increase CP? I've only been to one gym and got destroyed, do you have to keep going back to gyms until you win there?

Only with stardust and candy to increase CP. Best way is to catch a better pokemon and/or evolve it.

I still haven't evolve or use any of my stardust yet lol

Best Pokemon I've caught was like a 260 cp shelder I'm currently level 6. Should I try and increase its CP or just wait for a better Pokemon?

Kind of hard to gauge the threshold as to when to use your items for leveling up vs catching a better Pokemon

I think its better to save your stardust and level/evolve until you hit like level 15+

as you level up, the pokemon that appear are way stronger. I made the mistake of wasting stardust early on. I would just wait.

wait until you get your first lucky egg (lvl 8 i think), then start saving/farming some of the monsters that are cheap to evolve.

once you have lots of the right kind of candy, pop your lucky egg and evolve like crazy. evolving gets you experience, and the egg will double it. this might be the fastest way to lvl up in the game. also do it in an area where theres a double or triple lure and you can catch pokemon in between, and get double xp for that as well.

Had the same thing on my gf's S7 yesterday; trying again made it work.

don't waste stardust because when you're in higher levels you'll be finding pokemon with like 1000cp and that sort of thing.
since you don't really need to battle much as part of the game right now anyway, there's not much point to upgrading weaker pokemon.

Level 11 atm... used one of the two lucky eggs. fuckin server lag made it a waste.

There's a fuck ton of people on the corner of Nelson and Kingsway every night... Three Pokéstops with lures on them non-stop.
Another great spot is over by the convention center. People are there all the time with lures. Perfect time to use a lucky egg!
