Yes DDE bought my ITR.

You could have bought it and saved it from this fate!

VTEC all the way to California and they have only had it a little over 48hrs.

Props for him to drive 20 hours with a car screaming at 4500rpm. Even with stock exhaust engine still loud. If it was me I would have trailered it lol.

TouringTeg 06-21-2019 08:30 PM

I would have worn ear plugs Plus no AC!

97 ITR listed at 20k It is pending sale.

I just heard about you selling the ITR yesterday at VMSC autocross yesterday! A few people were very surprised.

I think I even spotted it yesterday, as I was heading to Western Speedway, I saw a white ITR coming out of Millstream Village, which in hindsight could be your ITR.

Glad you got a good deal out of it! Any plans for the future?

Thanks for the tip. I didn't check this forum often enough for the last month, so a little disconnected.

Looks like a very nice new ride.

TouringTeg 06-24-2019 06:25 PM

I even brought it to VMSC autox around 6pm for a bit! You may have been doing corners.

Apparently I was leading stock class in points when I sold it.

I didn't really want to sell but I had a cash offer from an old friend plus I recently sold my rental house and had the opportunity to upgrade. I will be back at autox again next month.

Clickbait title, it didn't break. He just went through like 6l of oil on his trip down

underscore 06-25-2019 11:25 AM

I'll admit I'm intrigued as to just how rough of a time the poor car is having, but I don't want to give douchebag driven exotics any views/clicks/whatever.

VTEC all the way down there. Constantly revving at high rpm. Burned through 6 L of oil. But Honda engines can handle a ton of beating as long as you have good oil and top it up when you need to.

tofu1413 06-25-2019 02:21 PM

Good god.

that poor 01........ bagged on like a $300 civic beater. :alone:

prudz 06-25-2019 02:23 PM

Srs, if it's eating 6L of oil even at high rev's either the valve seals or the rings are toast and the motor needed to be rebuilt. Sure honda's enjoy drinking a bit of oil but not 6L in 1300 miles. The good news for the new owner if it's valve seals they are pretty inexpensive to replace.

OEMSiR 06-25-2019 09:31 PM

Iv seen the way he drive.. he got a heavy foot lmao...

It's like when you and a girl decide to mutually break up and then you learn shortly after, she fell into the hands of a dickhead.

So many conflicted feels :QQ:

All good. I only met Damon for the first time when selling my car to him. I have known Dave since 2001 or so.

I think I was doing runs at that point, but I should still have seen you at the pit given how it was set up. I might have just been too busy talking to the other guys beside me then.

You and Thomas are the best stock guys there haha.

And it's always nice to sell your car to someone you know and they will take good care of it. I really wish I can do the same to my 8 when I have to sell it one day...

Looking forward to getting a closer look at the 1M in July then!

Iron Chef 06-27-2019 05:05 AM

Is 23.5k for an ITR with rust on both quarters and that badly needs an engine rebuild
1. A good buy
2. A rip off
3. Current market value ?
