What happened to that '96 for like $7500 recently?

There was a beautiful '96 for sale last summer. Legit MF8's in 4x114.3, lots of Spoon goodies, all mods were legit JDM brands, well maintained, well looked after, around 100k kms IIRC. I almost pulled the trigger at $9,500 but decided RHD wasn't for me. It was a nice fucking car.

Correct. I think the ones I took off may have been DMT as well. They had dried out and were cracking. I have no idea how long they were on the car for tho.

One of the previous owners snapped off two of the original bolts trying to add a second strut tower bar (?). One on each side so the tower bar was being held by one bolt per side.

These bolts are kind of interesting. They are not available for purchase new. If you want original you will have to take them for a wrecked GSR / Type R / EG Si etc. They have 3 notches welded to each and there is equivalent notches on the chassis. I think they were pressed in at the factory.

I was able to hammer out the old broken studs with a punch and a BFH. I replaced them with generic M8 12mm x 1.25 (5/8 or 3/4" length bolts and washers). The bolt and nut tighten on itself. One nice thing is I had the original nuts still so it looks near original from the engine bay. The head of the bolt and washer can be seen from up under the wheel well.

Here is a pic of the broken bolts

Thanks for that info. Yeah, they are sandwiched between the sheet metal of the fender liner and engine cradle and tack welded. So fucking annoying. I have a broken one but I just went with a bar that attaches to the top of the shock.

01 USDM PY 96kms, $19,000 USD That dollar though:

(AUTHENTIC) 2001 Acura Integra Type R

Testing waters and seeing if anyone is interested in my 01 Type R. It's a 100% legit Type R in my name I have papers to prove it all. Has 60,xxx original miles. It's a 10/10 Phoenix Yellow Paint (which is stock paint for this car) and the interior is also 10/10 very good condition in and out. Completely bone stock. All the maintenance is all up to date. Everything works great. Serious buyers only. This is a extremely rare car and I know how much it's worth. Only trades would be 2004-2007 STI. Give me a call or text if your seriously interested and we can go from there.

Thanks for looking

I am looking for a few OEM Type R parts and was wondering if anyone here might have some for sale. They need to be in very good condition.
  • OEM Type R rear Acura badge (red)
  • OEM Type R front floor mats (black)
  • OEM GSR or Type R rear checkered floor mats
  • OEM Type R leather shift knob (I might have a lead in Vancouver but haven't heard back from the seller with pics)

Thanks

The badge and shift knob can be purchased thru a dealership, but I believe the floor mats have been discontinued. Prices won't be cheap though, I was just looking for the same knob for my car and I think they're around $120 USD. I believe the leather knob is also used on certain Preludes (maybe SH model) around the same years as the integra.

^ You are correct. A new badge is $100

A new OEM shift knob is $233 from Acura (Part # given to me by the parts worker for my 2001 is # 54102-S30-N21 black leather with red stich.
(54102-30-N20 might be the original part # )

There are new old stock mats on ebay for about $400 CAD

Appreciate the heads up about the prelude shifter.

Part number for the knob is 54102-S30-N20. And here's a link talking about prelude knobs and ITR knobs and stuff, some good info.

If they're the checker version that's a good price for BNIB, especially in CAD. On par or slightly pricey for black mats though.

They are BNIB but they are the black ones that came on the later models. Edit: There was 4 left as of this morning and now they have 3 ugh

Acura Factory Floor MAT SET 2001 Integra Type R Black | eBay

I am unsure if the shifter part # N21 supersedes part #N20 ( N21 was given to me by Acura last week). I will probably have to buy this new anyway to get a good condition knob. Same goes for the badge to ensure I don't get a knockoff.

Another question. My shifter boot has black stitching. Should it be red stiched?
