Does it feel like a boat, I recall the 17 loaner I had drove like a boat and the seats were very hard and uncomfortable. I guess this all should be fixed with the update

The way my older son summarized the acceleration: "Dad, I think my internal organs just got pushed back to the seats". It's an acceleration unlike anything I've experience comparing say to exotics I've driven before.
Powerful ICE cars pushes you, but in a step that allows your body to go step by step in a very short period of time. The Plaid just pushes everything at once in a snap.

^ I can see the benefits of the yolk, but it's also not a great choice for a crowded city center. There's a reason most race cars don't have round wheels anymore because they don't need the top bit of the wheel. Alas this is not a race car. It's fine if you are on the highway 99% of the time, but around the city it's gonna take some getting used to, be inconvenient, or dangerous when you need to make evasive action.
@GLOW I believe the regular wheel is a no cost option now.

I drove my friends yoke it's not bad, the extra visibility is pretty nice and makes the cabin feel even more spacious.
