I recall watching tfl a while ago and they said for jeeps a lot of ppl were buying the phev one, damn Koreans I tell you, even they don't buy their own cars

I saw the f-0150 lighting and dang that thing is sexy. If u're local in Calgary who just wnats to be cool I can see why but if you're really a trade up north without a charger level 2 good luck.

The chick who serviced my car was driving a lighting but fully cause it's employee discount

it's because the 4xe was hella discounted, $299 per month lease on a wrangler, and you could get 40mpg.
They're farily problematic tho, esp the grand cherokee.

i'm talking about the new extended range EV Wagoneer.

~92 kWh battery, dual electric motors, and a 3.6L V6 engine acting strictly as a generator. It offers an estimated 150+ mile electric-only range, 500+ mile total range, 647 hp, and 0–60 mph in under 5 seconds.

Steep $5k discount + $2.5k rebate from toyota for the prius prime. Doesnt someone here own a prius prime and it bricked itself?

roastpuff 03-09-2026 01:53 PM

150 miles out of a 92kwh battery is dismal

I think that was dark0821. The 12v battery died or something like that.

JDMDreams 03-09-2026 02:10 PM

Wonder if shit is really hitting the fan, discounts on Toyota's?! I thought the prime was one of their hot cake models, so what does that work out to like $32000 for a prius prime?

Please put that part in spoiler, hide it from Badhobz or he might go and get one of those as well cuz its such a great Chinaman deal ... and still pocket $1500-500-300=$700/mth from company. :D

I kinda still want a fiat 500e on the side.

The 1500 is taxable benefit so really it’s more like 700ish.

Can someone explain to.my why there are so many rebuilt Tesla model 3's on Facebook marketplace? Almost everyone nice see is a rebuild.

GLOW 03-09-2026 03:58 PM

Too many of my people and your people driving uber and shit smashing them up.

Or maybe it’s because it’s their way to get out of their crappy leases since the residuals are all in the toilet.

GLOW 03-09-2026 04:33 PM

can you imagine a c-lai trying to figure out 1 pedal driving? oh 1 pedal? just slam on pedal to try to stop? :lol LUL

JDMDreams 03-09-2026 04:45 PM

A lot of few year old EV up for sale has been rebuilt, pretty much all low km reasonably priced cars are rebuilt, low km cuz crashed

dark0821 03-09-2026 07:02 PM

Tesla model 3 rebuilds, a lot of them were write off due to parts availability, so they timed out and ICBC will total the car.

Example A - My friend's model 3 Performance which he bought back. He had a fender bender, needed new quater panel, rear bumper, rear tail light, rear trunk. (all cosmetic), the car drove fine, no alignment needed

Went thru ICBC - Bodyshop said some parts are 6 months +, some parts are back ordered with no ETA

ICBC totals the model 3 and writes my friend a cheque

My friend then asked one of the Chinese dealer in Richmond to buy the car back from auction.

Took the car back to the bodyshop, and bought all used take-off parts from other Teslas.

Then passed VI at Canadian Tire to get it insured again.

Now he is still driving his original car with 14K in his pocket but with branded title. He said he is driving it to the ground, so rebuild doesn't mean anything to him.

JDMDreams 03-09-2026 07:59 PM

Is that new? I had a JDM car that had to wait over a year for parts

yray 03-09-2026 08:28 PM

LOL just look at automind richmond

I think a tesla model 3 was waiting for repairs and parked on the street, somehow it got rear ended overnight :lol

did you get roadstar or smth like that? he said one of the main reason to total out the car was ICBC had to pay for car rental when the model 3 was in the shop.... so ICBC be like... minimum car rental 6 months.... or longer due to some parts with no ETA....

so... within like 3 weeks he got a letter fron ICBC be like... yea we are just gonna write you a cheque

this charger at work is a level 2 10KWH charger, but how come it never goes up to 10kw? its always around 6.something...

I also found out why these clowns are able to disconnect it, its because i use the adapter. The adapter is locked into the port, but they can easily unplug the charger from the adapter.

bunch of dicks!!!! so far they've left me a bag of salad, some quinoa sprinkled all over my hood, and a few tampons all around the lesbaru

yray 03-10-2026 08:49 AM

any chance your vehicle settings are limiting you to lower amperage?

also, chargers always work 5-10% below listed

Badhobz 03-10-2026 09:24 AM

not sure...maybe the adapter too? im at 69% state of charge (nice) so i figure it just top it off to 120% because fuck you its a lease.

u need to get the 3d printed thing that goes onto the adapter, it adds a lock.

u have MY26 bz so should be 10kw but just because a charger is 10kw is possible, they can derate it to 6kw if the breaker/supply can't support that.

bcrdukes 03-10-2026 09:32 AM

Let's just face the reality and admit that Akio Toyota cursed his car and it's actually broken.

JDMDreams 03-10-2026 09:48 AM

Is road star worth it? I recall asking my insurance guy about it but I forget why I end up getting talked out of it. I think car rentals from ICBC is like capped at $500? So that's like less than a week worth of rental. They just tell you to drive your broken car around cus the shop isn't gonna give you a courtesy car since its not at the shop yet.
