My Huracans all hovered around $2,200, except for my first one, which was pre-RG98 and I only paid the basic rate.

RG98 is where they really get you and it's based on the after-tax value. My Revuelto was quoted at $17k/year with an $11k deductible. I went with Stratford for $12k/year, which still isn’t cheap, but the value of the car isn’t reasonable. Unfortunately they shut down so it's back to ICBC.

Car: Lamborghini Revuelto Hybrid
Premium: $17,316
Collision Deductible: $11,200

Comprehensive Deductible: $11,200

Minimum non-refundable premium: $2,850

RoadStar Package: Yes
Interesting. I always thought ICBC only covered basic and you're on your own for collision/comprehensive for exotics.

Any ideas in my mind that I ever would want a car like the Rev would quickly dissipate upon closer inspection of the running costs. $17k a year for insurance is mental!

That’s what they tell the public but because ICBC is mandatory for basic insurance they're froced to provide the collision and comprehensive coverage for exotics. There’s no other insurance provider in BC that will offer collision and comprehensive coverage for exotics.
