For the gopros def want a model capable of 1080p at 60FPS or higher
30fps looks like shit for most stuff you'll be filming with the GoPro.

looking for 24" LED (27" is ok too, no bigger, 24 is lowest.) tv deals for $100. any brand as long as it has 2x HDMI (ill consider 1xHDMI if i have to)

Last fireworks display we had three set up to take video: Hero 2, Hero 3+ and Hero 4 Black. The batteries on both the 3+ and 4 Black wouldn't hold a charge, despite being plugged in for a few hours and showing a full charge. They also seem to be insanely picky with SD cards recently. The only one that's been consistently reliable lately is the 2, which sucks because the footage isn't very good on it...

The stand is very much like a tv stand and it's a very highly reviewed monitor for the price
