I kinda hope we get the second pick in the draft and not the first. If we get the first and pick Nico and Patrick turns out to be the stud after he gets through all of the injuries he has I will be pissed. But if we pick second we don't really have a choice between the two which we won't have to look back at the what if situation down the road.

Nolan Patrick has been injury prone. He never played a full season since the age of 13
Hearing Bennings interview he wants an offensive D man who can play on the PP. Sounds like he wants LILJEGREN, TIMOTHY

Liljegren been dropping though.
If we get top 5 pick, imo it should be for a centre. So many choices. If it's dman, I'd trade down for an extra pick.

It's 2018 draft thats projected to have a deep dmen pool.
Either way, Canucks need talent in Center more than anything right now.

New Jersey lost today, Arizona plays Minnesota, and we play Edmonton.
Can finish between 27th and 29th.
A Canucks regulation loss and an Arizona win tonight would make that 28th or 29th.
