Yesterday on my run. This morning in my car connected to the aux car. The list goes on. To have to have an adapter ready everywhere is a pain, and a cash grab.

Once you go wireless, you'll actually never go back to wired.

Except in your car. You'll probably need an adapter for that if it doesn't have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

After using Airpods, it just feels like I'm going backwards in time. The convenience factor is just so great, especially at the gym.

I just don't believe LG devices last long, and trying to go back to "smaller" phones

This morning when I go to work. In fact I perfer my weird headphones over the wireless due to better sound quality and I don't have to worry about running out of battery and charging it.

I also only use wired headphones when I am traveling since I don't want to use the headphones from airline(they are crap) and less charger for me to bring with me.

Having a head phone jack is great, but let's face it. In 5 years, no one is going to have one anymore. No different than the industry moving to USB C.

the only time i've been using headphone jacks is when i'm in bed watching a movie or playing games

and that's really only cus i'm too lazy to go downstairs to pick up my wireless headphones and i'm too lazy to turn on the bluetooth on my device to connect it

wasn't a fan of it initially but getting rid of the jack was the right move for phones, BT headsets are only gonna get cheaper



side note, are airpods and the upcoming google pixel buds BT 5.0? or still 4.2?

The grey/black im using now is a silicon case. I usually put the magnetic plate on the inside of the case.

I've heard that some people find that the magnetic plate messes with nfc

What is up with google and their uninspired colour names? I mean I love my pixel xl, but seriously can they come up with a better than basic name than something like VERY SILVER? Is there a shortage in adverbs in the English language or something?

Now it's JUST BLACK. Well, ok then, it's not even very black anymore. Now that they get rid of the 3.5mm jack as well, might as well not even have named colours anymore.

Would you prefer something like sterling silver or back to some traditional means of describing black, like the Spanish word for black - negro?

Is that a joke lol, as long as the colours look good who cares what they are called, it's not like the name is engraved on the phone.
