^Please include more of the background next time. Can barely see anything other than a car.

westopher 04-17-2017 04:42 PM

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic since the car is neither overpowering the photo, nor is it difficult to see.

Went for a sea to sky run over the weekend with the wife, forgot how fun it is! Now that I'm old I barely come up here haha, I remember always coming up in summer, on late nights on the weekends or early mornings and doing a couple of runs with buddies. Man those were some good times

^ I just finally drove a 2017 model as a loaner because my current car is in the shop. It feels so... lazy. I'm comparing to a 2008 CSX (base) and a 2017 Honda Civic EX-T.

bought a house... so got back into an E90 M3. First owning the Dakar yellow coupe and now into a silverstone met. II sedan.

"Digital" era BMWs just really aren't for me. (whenever they started playing fake engine noise ... smh)

Good old 4.0L V8 that revs to 8k is just addicting. whats not like.

It's been a good run Mr F10 M5.

Indeed. Sportiness isnt really part of the equation when it comes to driving this green bin around. I like it because its quiet (Honda's are usually less isolated from road noise and vibrations) and roomy inside. Almost like a cheapie Buick. Plus at 250 a month w/ tax, its quite a bit cheaper than any comparable econobox.

My biggest gripes with it

1) CVT is garbage. The large / small planetary gears setup is super annoying. The programming screws up sometimes and you are in the large gear at 1500rpm waiting for it to kick down but it'll never kick down. It also smells like burning tranny going up steep mountain grades (same as all the other CVT's ive ever driven)

2) seats are shit. Church pews basically... the foam used by toyota is getting thinner and thinner with each generation. My older 2013 rolla had much better and thicker seats. Damn bean counters in toyota are ruining the brand. I remember when my 91 camry le had manual lumbar support. Those camry seats were thick and supportive as hell.

The E90 M3 is not a small car, but it looks like a dwarf compared the M7!

thumper 04-18-2017 08:33 AM

omg.

we've all seen the car ads online of people selling their beloved ride to finance a new home and probably ended up replacing it with something they hate or a even bus pass... but tofu?:

F10 is pretty bulky of a car

the annoying thing is the interior is not as spacious as the exterior size suggests... :rukidding:
