I didn't think Doughty's hit was suspension-worthy but meh.

It's the same type of play that ended Marc Savard's career and derailed David Booth's.

Doughty's (and Johansen's) wasn't as vicious as those hits, obviously, but that's the kind of hit that originally started the Department of Player Safety and the kind of hit they originally set out to eliminate.
