Shocking road rage. SUV driver hits flagger
 

This is the worst road rage that I've seen in the Lower Mainland.

An SUV driver hits a flagger today in a Vancouver construction zone. :heckno:

Someone just lost their license

It was a Surrey woman. She beat up her two kids shortly after and the kids are with Child Services now.

just in that video she had plenty of room to merge, before dump truck, before caravan, before infiniti suv, missed all good chances and went in to rage mode?

Hope she loses her license and gets jail time.

That being said that flagger is a retard for walking directly up to a moving vehicle to "stop" it.

it was sitting outside of traffic where the construction was happening so I'm assuming there was already a confrontation...the news also reports of an earlier hit

there was no indication the lady was crazy and was going to step on the gas hard
pretty difficult to judge the situation from a short clip

also, pretty stupid to hit-and-run in this situation when you're immediately joining traffic crawling at 10kph :derp:

She is actually black. Mid 40s woman. She hit 2 flaggers that day.. damb.

Is there a chance the driver was looking over her right shoulder the whole time and forgot someone was in front of them? Obviously they are retarded but it seems more plausible than just getting fed up and running the person over.

Flagging is a real shit job, I've spent 2-3 full days flagging on some of our construction sites due to the way we had to position our concrete trucks etc.

No one ducking listens to you, people aren't paying attention, on their phones, etc.

Have respect for these people and obey their signals cause it's a lot more difficult than just spinning a sign around. Surpassingly simply holding the sign all day is pretty rough lol

It goes both ways though, I've seen a lot of younger flaggers on their phone and not really paying attention to what's going on. I don't even trust people when I'm protected in my truck I wouldn't put my guard down standing in the middle of the street.

Friend of mine is BBY RCMP. She was taken down at Station Square area. Apparently, the 2nd flagger she hit was not far off from this area.

And yes, she will fall under "NCR" - Nor criminally responsible - because of supposed mental issues/disabilities.

i think lifetime driving ban(better damn well be the ruling) and probably never having custody of her children is hopefully enough motivation to stay under help and medication

I couldn't handle that as a flagger. I'd have a bin of rocks to throw at windshields for those speeding or texting idiots. At least have a AR15 paintball gun with you. ;)
