Flights were soo cheap for this period right!?!?
Hoping the weather stays hot for us lmao
Weather was great! Flights to LA were so much cheaper after thanksgiving weekend like $175 only or something. I booked mine for $360 around there.. Meh
Anyways... just helped my friend get an emergency visa to vietnam within 30 mins while she was in taiwan without one an hour before her flight.. she was literally panicking when she called me!!
Feels good that i helped her find a good website otherwise she wouldve missed the flight for the day the other websites wouldve taken at least 4 hrs to process even if it was urgent

^ same for my sleeping schedule lol. Been sleeping til the evening and staying awake at night. Makes me feel weird.
So I woke up on Sunday at 7pm, feeling groggy from edibles since Thurs lol. Took a caffeine pill and an energy drink. Was able to shower, make dinner for us, and get through a crazy workout. 30 min cardio, 2 different supersets with weights (back and shoulders), and I did 4 sets of 30 sit ups + 1 min straight on ropes = 120 situps & 4 mins ropes. Total gym time was about 2 hrs.
Pretty happy since it was my first real day back since end of Sept. Surprised my cardio is stronger as i was able to do 15 min of hill training then end off with a 5 min run and i havent lost as much strength as I thought
Fucked up my hip again though LOL so fuckin olddd

Man, finally installed a new bathroom fan. It was making noise for a looooong time, then a few days ago, it just died.
Anyway, the builder being the cheap ass that he is, put the cheapest possible fans in the bathrooms. This builder, who lives in the neighbourhood, is a total cheap ass. Not frugal, but a cheap ass son of a bitch. Fokker used to walk by my house and tell me he's so happy for us living there. I think he even said, he prays for us and blesses the house. Damn fucking right..... prays the house doesn't fall apart before the 2/5/10 warranty. And the god bless.............. nuff said. Anyway, I take out the fan after cussing and cursing to find out the nice fan I bought at Costco ain't gonna work. Cheap ass used one of those fans with a 3 inch vent. The house is under 10 years old, so it should have 4 inch venting. Anyway, I'm like damn it, gotta go return the Costco one and get me a fan with a 3 inch vent. Long story short, and after lots of research I got me a Panasonic bathroom fan. This thing is amazing. So, after I get this Panasonic which happens to include a 4 inch to 3 inch adapter, I started to install the frame and exhaust duct part. I look at the vent pipe and the fokker had a 4 inch vent pipe in there, but hacked the end to look like a 3 inch. So, I guess the building code requires a 4 inch, but cheap ass builder installs a 3 inch fan. He didn't even use an adapter, which would have cost him 3 or 4 bucks. It took me a day to install another section of pipe to make it all work. The fan was installed prior to finishing, so nothing was easy. The only good thing was, the builder used the cheapest duct tape you can buy, so it was easy to take the joint apart. Anyway, it is all in and the fan is whisper quiet. And 110 CFM to boot as opposed to this dinky cheapest of the cheapest fan that sucked as much air as a................. I am a happy camper and proud I did it all without tearing out any hairs or cutting myself up.
HAHA LMAO. I wonder how he even found a 3-inch fan. Then again maybe ten years ago they still had a small selection on the market for retrofit applications. My place had one installed in the 70s or 80s... 3-inch outlet... vented straight into the attic.

They still sell 3 inch fans at Home Depot. They now have upgrade parts. Broan/Nutone makes an upgrade fan that plugs right into the old fan housing making it less noisy and produces higher CFM. No need to pull out the old fan.
After I found the Panasonic, I came across this upgrade part. I purchased it today and replaced one of the fans upstairs. Works like a charm. No need to take old fan out and cut new opening, etc. It's quieter and seems to draw air out faster. Nicer grill, too.

NOT picking on you; just expanding on your story.
We get a lot of owners complaining.
Common things said to builders.
"the owner keeps calling me saying how come people can do it cheaper"
"why can't the house be built faster"
mother fucker, if you aren't so fucking cheap and pay another $20k more, maybe you'll get the quality of things. Yes I can go back to the store and buy another adaptor part but that would mean 3 hours delay back and forth. It wouldn't be a huge problem if you weren't breathing down my neck saying you need to complete this sooner.
Hahahaha no wonder we're friends???? sagittarius!?
Yes Sagittarius ftw!!! To be honest I haven't really read many horoscopes since maybe high school... where it's next to the comic section in The Province newspaper
I just found out that I'm not allergic to seafood / shellfish! I've been missing out my entire life, but I think I'm more open to trying it now. Well the caveat is that it has to be relatively fresh (read: expensive), turns out im more allergic to the preservatives.
Nevertheless, I'm excited to be able to try a new cusine!

The random act of kindness thread disappeared on me so here goes.
My lunch today was at IKEA and their Swedish meatballs. Without hesitation, I decided to also pay for the person's lunch behind me. She also ordered the same meal.

Yup, it has happened to me a few times. It happens in places like Port Kells, Langley, and Abbotsford.......... you know, places where there are no frugal asians, gulolol.
I bring my own cup that's about the size or a large drink and they're okay with that, too.
It's funny, because I have my card out to pay and they tell me, "No, no, no......... it's free."
Alrighty, then. If you say so.

Just got back (early early morning) from our Kelowna trip and I am thankful for the peace officers out there who help motorists get to a safe space. On our way back on Hwy 5S, right before the Coquihalla Canyon Provincial park, the Subbie in our group ran out of gas completely. Our car still had gas so we made a gas run.
Stopping on Hwy 5S in those conditions is ridiculously stupid and dangerous. Luckily a CVSE officer came by and escorted the Subbie to the chain-off area on Hwy 5N. That same officer came by and helped us clear off our wipers and gave us tips on making sure our windshields and wipers arent frozen. AND he let us use the emergency services turn around route to get back onto Hwy 5S.
I am so thankful for that CVSE officer that really helped us get out of a rough spot.
