at least 16 dead Florida high school

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/14/us/fl...ing/index.html

Looks like it was a former student 18 or 19. 2 cops where on duty at the school when it happened. 3000 students go to the school and the hallways are outdoors so it's just a bunch of buildings outdoors. Fire alarm was pulled before the shooting.

Edit: It's 17 dead now.

"two cops with no training"......Again,they need to make the hiring process harder vs getting softies on the job afraid to do they're job.

GS8 02-14-2018 02:42 PM

Sick fuck probably wanted to create his own Valentine's Day Massacre.

I'd be alright if they fed him to Alligators.

What are the cops do when you have 3000 kids running out of class rooms. This school had multiple buildings with multiple exits.

What would it take for this issue to catch on fire like the MeToo movement?

Reports of 6 to 8 school shootings in the US in 2018 already, and it's not even end of February!

6o4__boi 02-14-2018 04:13 PM

RIP

but a class full of kindergarteners or 1st graders got shot up and not much happened

hell, morons started harassing relatives of these kids for fucks sakes saying its all a conspiracy

so expecting for some changes after this is as good as waiting for the Canucks to win a Cup

fuck America

Nothing.

Americans have the second amendment and it will ever be changed despite it not even being relevant in this day and age.

JSALES 02-14-2018 04:35 PM

RIP.

What can you expect in America?

Ludepower 02-14-2018 05:05 PM

Sweep it under the rug and redirect the news on the middle east. Rinse and repeat.

Great68 02-14-2018 05:45 PM

Sad thing is that is that I don't even have a reaction anymore when I hear news like this.

Ho hum, until Americans have some great cultural shift, this shit will continue. To be expected, will reoccur again.

320icar 02-14-2018 05:47 PM

I don’t expect anything from America. This has been the norm for a while and they have no real desire to change

Hondaracer 02-14-2018 05:52 PM

All about dat K/D ratio now

There is also another video on youtube that shows a dead body in a class room as kids run out. Don't know if I'm allowed to post it.

Obv not in the SFW area, no

DragonChi 02-14-2018 06:58 PM

To the NSFW thread Batman!

I looked up the youtube video, it's a picture, no video. If I was looking at the one you were talking about that is.

RIP to the students. It is messed up that this can happen at schools. Willing to bet that it won't be the last time though.

I wonder what the motivation for these shooters are, it seems to happen way too often.

This is a video less than 200 views. Type in Marcellino NY Leather Bags in youtube search. Go to the channel and click video's.

DragonChi 02-14-2018 07:13 PM

It seems to be the same video of the snapchat video posted by SP.

tbh i'm not really ready to see dead bodies right now.

SkinnyPupp 02-14-2018 07:23 PM

How 2018 is it that kids are snapchatting their school shootings WutFace

DragonChi 02-14-2018 07:27 PM

It's not that humans have changed, the technology has. Pretty sure if they had smartphones at columbine, there'd be video of that too.

PeanutButter 02-14-2018 07:48 PM

I know i'm an arm chair warrior right now, but from watching these videos it seems like the best strategy during a shooting on campus and you're stuck in a room, someone should be posted by the door out of sight.

If the shooter tries to enter the classroom you try to hit him with a chair or weapon. Otherwise, everyone in the classroom are sitting ducks.

I think they should have mandatory school training for situations like these. Though, they might already have it.

Badhobz 02-14-2018 08:17 PM

This shit is getting old. Simpsons did it....

You can be that guy.

This school had training for an active shooter situation. They did a drill about a month ago. Some students though the school would have drill to test the students. Some thought this was the drill when they heard gun shots.

Honestly, I think I would be that guy right now...

In highschool, not sure if I would be singing the same tune.

They are just kids after all. But, what is the alternative?

corollagtSr5 02-14-2018 08:34 PM

Heroes die first in the real world. Your best bet is probably to flip the desk to its side and take cover. If he does approach you, you only have two options, fight or flight.
