I 100% agree with you for everyone but Lisa Murkowski. Google her name + Trump, set the date to the last 4 years. She's been fighting with him the whole time. She's one of the good ones I think.

I think his last few posts were him wondering why nobody would take him seriously in the Coronavirus thread, and then I posted a link to his last Trump post, which was a fantasy about Trump and Pence completely overthrowing the election. He said he was "obviously joking" and I said after 4 years of that kind of post, it's not "obviously" a joke anymore.

I told him to come clean on the Trump trolling if that's what it is, and have a fresh start. He hasn't posted since then...

He's asked to be banned before, so I think he has mixed feelings over his MAGA stuff. He wanted to quit but couldn't. Maybe he finally has. I think he's probably lurking still though, and will eventually post again. Hopefully the MAGA stuff is done. It's time for the world to move on from that period of history. Deal with the cult and hope it goes away eventually.

What irked with his posts was that he kept a facade as if he was right by posting things that were obviously wrong facts as a valid (or "respectful") opinion and then calling my posts condescending when I called him out.

I wouldn't expect humour in this circumstance from someone that has strong pride in their country, especially as an immigrant, watching the events unfold. We can laugh at how ridiculous it is, and I'm certainly not acting like I'm above that, but for someone that is a proud American, this is painful, it's embarrassing, and I'm sure the many reasonable Americans out there are feeling very deep shame in this, and extreme worry. Yes trump is out, but look at the portion of the population that are absolute trash? It's not a laughing matter, it's a very genuine threat to the safety of Americans.
