Have you guys noticed how some Youtubers and influences just started randomly throwing in pro-Trump rhetoric into their channels over the last few months?

It's been said that has been as a result of Elon's super PAC. He's been throwing cash at online content creators to cheerlead for Trump in their content, even if it has nothing to do with politics.

It's all quite sleazy stuff.

God I hope this bastard loses so we can move on from these bastards for a while.

He worded it in a way that makes it legal. Grifting itself is not illegal!

You're talking out your ass, she's mentioned it for quite some time before, even in her initial running back for the Democratic nominee way back when.

You also do realize she has only been nominated as the official nominee when Biden stepped down in late July right?

When did you want her to put that formally in her agenda, before she was born? Would that make you happy? :lol

Well that article you posted said 3 weeks ago. It then references a time when she brought up marijuana policies in congress but even then there was no hint they were leaning towards federal legalization. So I dot think it’s that clear? lol and yes obviously I don’t care enough to dig deep into when it was formalized but it was obviously part of this campaign to become president, after she was the nominee?

SkinnyPupp 11-04-2024 04:55 PM

"These are the policies I am going to employ, so this is why you should vote for me"

Is a bad thing now?

I'll take legal weed over tariffs. The clowns voting for him don't realize that THEY are the ones who have to pay these tariffs. Fucking idiots.

100% tariff on phones made in China! Fuck yeah! Make them pay! USA! USA!

Guess what happens to the price of these phones, you absolute moron.

Edit: Here you go. PERFECT example:

Hondaracer 11-04-2024 05:10 PM

So what’s the incentive if tariffs? To force companies to manufacture domestically?

What’s an American made iPhone cost? $4000?

That's the idea, yeah. There are viable industries to do this in, but he's using it as a weapon and basically another form of taxing US citizens in a way they don't understand

And they're talking about targeting Mexico now too. I think it's possible he doesn't even know how tariffs work, like the guy in the interview

N.V.M. 11-04-2024 05:26 PM

now that Joe Rogan has announced, on the eve of the election, that Elon Musk has convinced him that Trump is the clear choice. (which he is).

I don't think Trump needed it, but that should do it.

Well it doesn’t help that quite a number of Americans are convinced that the only path to making money for any company is through the USA… I’m not sure what they think the rest of the world runs on or what happened prior to 1776…… but here we are

It's for rich people to pay less taxes. He wants to bring in tariffs and get rid of all taxes. Some people are spending 80%/90% of their paycheck on goods/services. Someone who makes a lot of money is spending less than 10%. Out of that 10% maybe 5% is going to be on goods that have tariffs on them.

Going to make my prediction that Democrats will get about 285 electoral college votes for the win. The world can take a breath, civility prevails, and Trump fades into oblivion (and back to the courts to face his legal troubles). Hopefully.

-latest updates about election day:

Live updates: 2024 presidential election | CNN Politics

Multiple precincts in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, experienced issues with the vote-counting machines early Tuesday morning, election officials said — but people were still able to cast their ballots.
“Prior to the opening of the polls, the Bedford County Elections Office received calls from several precincts around the county reporting an issue with the tabulator machines. We identified the issue and sent support teams to resolve the problem,” Jeffrey Gable, the county’s elections director, said in a statement. “The ability to vote has not been impacted and at this time all sites are being addressed.”

Uh Oh. Pennsylvania is a big swing state for either the Democrats or the Republicans.

Watch Cheeto try to find ways to get the tabulator machines to mess up or claim "irregularities" in the voting process in Penn state.

Was in Philly a couple months ago, spotted this Trump electronic billboard juxtaposed with some racial kumbaya mural. A few seconds ago it actually said "Trump - Protecting Minorities" or something like that. Had to chuckle at that one. Definitely a schizoid kind of state:

It's the Russian hackers ... but yah, Trump will be beating that drum as predicted.

I had a chat at a restaurant yesterday with a gal from Wisconsin, she's an undecided voter who doesn't plan on voting, although her friends plan to vote for Trump because of his "policies".

I ask her what policies specifically, she says she doesn't know, but then says "economy". I say to her, "Inflation is down, the stock market is at its highest, and gas prices right now in San Antonio are some of their lowest ($2.19 per gallon a few days ago).

She goes, "Well gas was $1.80 when Trump was in power."

I go "During COVID?"

She goes "Ya".

I then had to explain to her supply economics and how EVERYWHERE had cheap gas during COVID, including shitty Vancouver with our normally insane prices because no one was going anywhere.

She had no idea of that concept. It gave me a better understanding of how some of these folks fall for Trump's very basic rhetoric.

I'm trying to fight the good fight down here, enjoy your election day.

One of my American relatives, an uncle in Arizona, did a mail in vote many weeks ago.

He is in his 80s now. -doesn't have the energy to walk to the nearest mail box to mail in his vote. Therefore, he asks one of his granddaughters to bring his ballot in a sealed envelope to mail it in for him. LUL

Arizona is a toss up. A big swing state. -could go either way as a Democrat blue state or a Republican red state now based on the American electoral map.

What the fck is this shit. It took me 5 minutes to vote last month. Americans are having to wait in line for hours. In some states it's illegal to hand a person who is in line a bottle of water.

its crazy how people are willing to vote for kodos if it means their gas will drop a quarter.

noclue 11-05-2024 09:47 AM

Well if you think about it to the average joe the economy means jobs, price of groceries and gas and most people dont think about macroeconomics.

Trump’s media stock is halted for extremely volatile trading as America goes to the polls

https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/05/inves...ial/index.html

I don't know if we are infer anything from this but people are bailing out of his stock, surely that suggests the election isn't going according to plan?
