TSA working for free on the busiest day of the year, thanks donnie...and basically letting alien kids die in detention https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...er/2411319002/ |
Went in for our scheduled interview for the kid, got turned back because no one's working on the state's side at the Vancouver location. |
Does she even stand a chance at winning the nomination? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...resident-trump Senator Elizabeth Warren jumped into the race for president on Monday, announcing she is forming an exploratory committee for 2020. The Massachusetts Democrat, known for her critiques of big banks and corporations, became the first major candidate to declare her intentions with a video posted online on New Year’s Eve. “America’s middle class is under attack,” she said. “How did we get here? Billionaires and big corporations decided they wanted more of the pie and they enlisted politicians to cut them a fatter slice.” Warren, 69, is entering what is likely to be a crowded Democratic primary field seeking to take on Donald Trump. Those considering bids include a slew of fellow senators such as Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand and Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, the former vice-president, and former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg. In her four and a half minute announcement video, Warren stressed the economic populist message that has brought her to national prominence. She mixed old family photos with charts showing the declining middle-class share of income and the gap between black and white household wealth, and discussed her upbringing in Oklahoma and her family’s struggle to make ends meet after her father had a heart attack that left him unable to work. “Working families today face a lot tougher path than my family did,” she said. “Our government’s supposed to work for all of us, but instead it has become a tool for the wealthy and well-connected.” Warren did not mention Trump by name in the video, but it showed images of him along with allies Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon and Fox News personalities Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity. The video says: “The whole scam is propped up by an echo chamber of fear and hate designed to distract and divide us – people who will do or say anything to hang on to power.” |
I imagine a good portion of Bernie supporters will never forgive Warren for selling out her principles in support of Hillary last time around. The same group which abstained from voting or even voted Trump to spite the Democrats. |
I'm so glad Canadian media isn't this parasitic (yet) MSM: The OG gift horse. Let's see what they gift us in 2019 LUL |

I predict if market continues to tank like they did in Oct, Nov and Dec, impeachment chatters will gain even more ground especially when the House change ownership. Rich people will let him play so long as their money is not on the line. |
Nancy Pelosi elected speaker of the house. reps screwed up on Elizabeth Warren. |
Cringe. |

I hope he calls a national emergency so countries like Canada will have to issue a travel warning for the states. The national emergency will have to last years because that's how long it will take for the wall to be built. |
even though I think that Trump is lying through his teeth in his speech, that democratic response is so terrible that's it's not going to sway any border wall supporters |

Why do people keep comparing him to other people? can't he stand on his own 2 feet? |

Just pointing out the blatant hypocrisy. The media was fawning over Obama while he deported twice as many illegals in his first term. 2020 should be interesting as the democrats continue to shed all of what little common sense they had, purely out of spite. |

trump had control of the house and Senate for 2 years. If he thought the wall was so important he should have done it in the first 60 days but he was too busy golfing and posting sick burns on twitter. When is trump going to stop using Obama as a crutch ans stand on his own 2 feet? |
While I may not always agree with you Manic, you do put out a good argument sometimes. +1, would thank again |
