President Donald Trump is funneling proceeds from the sale of Venezuelan oil to a bank account in Qatar, Semafor reported on Wednesday.

The second official described Qatar as a neutral location where money can flow freely with US approval and without risk of seizure. Trump’s order noted that at least some of the revenue would be held in US Treasury accounts.
It is unclear why money held in Qatar would be at less of a “risk of seizure” than money held in a bank account in the U.S. Furthermore, it is not clear who or what the Trump administration believes might try to seize – or freeze – the cash.
“There is no basis in law for a president to set up an offshore account that he controls so that he can sell assets seized by the American military,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), the ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, told Semafor. “That is precisely a move that a corrupt politician would be attracted to.”
In May, the Qatari royal family gave Trump a $400 million luxury plane. The gift came as Trump’s family business had secured a deal to build a golf resort in the oil-rich country.
Trump has his tiny hands on Venezuela, wants to get Cuba, threatening Iran, Greenland, calling in the army to Minnesota ... the distraction method is really working.

It's been floated that if the US attacks Greenland that the EU could confiscate all US bases located in the EU. An US attack on Greenland amounts to violation of the NATO treaty which is what protects US military assets - this act of war would open the door for NATO nations to confiscate US military assets that are located in their countries (this would also be considered an act of war but at this point who's counting?).
It would make sense that EU nations would, at a minimum, secure their borders from the US which naturally should/would lead to any US military assets being put under EU control - at this point it'd be considered war seizure and not confiscation since the US and NATO would be at war once an invasion took place. All US troops in NATO countries would likely be arrested at this point - we're talking around 80,000 troops.
It's a crazy scenario (ChatGPT makes it sound like it's impossible) but has any of the shit that has happened in the past month not been totally crazy (and illegal)?

Agreed 100%. What, would the US expect its former NATO allies to just ignore the US military assets within their borders? Everybody is just too chickenshit to tell the Trump administration the consequences of their actions.
