Iran supposedly doesn't have nuclear warheads yet, they were something like 80% of the way there. What they could do is probably dirty bombs. The risk of that is probably as high as it could be and it's another reason to stay away from the states right now.
With Carney just short of endorsing the attacks, we aren't out of the water but we are nowhere near as high a target.
I read that US casualities might be very high, Trump also somewhat confirmed this. Iran is claiming over a 1,000, some sources claim around 500.
And it's insane to me that a guy who railed against Bush and the Iraq war for the past 22 years decides he wants to join the club of going to war under false pretences.

Based on what the military analysts have said about Russia using dirty bombs in the past 4 years, I think Iran knows how hard the retaliation would be if they actually dared to use any dirty bombs to hit their targets. That could be one of the explanations of why they haven't / didn't do it so far.

But if Iran’s leadership has its back against the wall, they could unleash everything they have on targets across the region. Trump likely knows this and has signalled he wants to “talk,” which suggests the US wants to avoid a regional war it can’t control or a prolonged conflict that could require boots on the ground.
