First sign of panic? :considered:

Trump should save his campaign money. Anyone who's stupid enough to vote for him is already locked in, and anyone with awareness of what's happening isn't going to be convinced. At this point it's just a waiting game to see how many people aren't aware.

His entire life has been defined by poor financial decisions, why stop now?

How Jared Kushner’s Secret Testing Plan “Went Poof Into Thin Air”

Quote:

This spring, a team working under the president's son-in-law produced a plan for an aggressive, coordinated national COVID-19 response that could have brought the pandemic under control. So why did the White House spike it in favor of a shambolic 50-state response?

The *only* reason Trump is against that graphic is because the first 10 seconds featured how rich Bezos got and Trump hates him + that’s Trump’s maximum attention span so it’s pretty much the only part he saw

This seems like an SNL skit, but no that's not Alec Baldwin, it's actually Trump EleGiggle

https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/entry/...1ec?ri18n=true

trump is still wishing ghislaine maxwell well. 100% she has dirt on him, there is no other explanation.

“I do wish her well,” Trump said. “I’m not looking for anything bad for her.”

he's not wishing anything bad for a child rapist and child sex trafficker.

Presto 08-04-2020 10:23 AM

The whole Axios interview. Good luck making it through:

unit 08-04-2020 10:58 AM

who could honestly watch this whole thing and still say trump is right in the head.

Was she convicted before with Epstein? Or is this the first time she's been arrested?

Why does that matter?

unit 08-04-2020 12:23 PM

she was protected by the ridiculous plea deal that epstein got back in 2008.

I thought this was a very well done interview by the interviewer and team. I don't remember the last time I was able to sit through an entire Trump interview like this.

Having been around teachers and newer parents recently, the interviewers mannerisms and speech patterns reflect very closely of those that regularly converse with a toddler or younger child. Lot of respect to him for being able to sit through that without losing their cool, you lose Trump when you do that imo. He pressed when he knew he could press, and kept enough praises going when suitable to keep leading him on to keep talking.

cafe22 08-04-2020 01:43 PM

I wonder which advisor(s) actually thought it was a good idea to have Trump sit in a 30+ minute interview?

68style 08-04-2020 03:28 PM

^ it’s patently obvious that he no longer has anyone around him anymore that says “No” to him... he fired them all already

Someone timestamped their favourite quotes

On Coronavirus:

"Those people that really understand it, the... they really understand it, they said it's incredible, the job we've done!" (04:48)

"They are dying. That's true. And you ha... it is what it is." (07:24)

"And you know, there are those that say you can test too much, you do know that." -Who says that?- "Oh, just read the manuals, read the books." (09:59)

"Jonathan, we weren't even... we didn't even have a test. When I took over, we didn't even have a test. Now in all fairness... [...] there was no test for this. We didn't have a test, because there was no test." (12:10)

"You know... it's called science and all of a sudden something's better." (12:30)

"You test, some kid has even just a little runny nose, it's a case." (12:42)

"Well, right here... United States is lowest... in... numerous categories. We're lower than... the world." (13:26)Pause at 13:36 for reaction pic to that one.

"Uuuuh... I... I won't get into that, because we have a very good relationship with the country, but you don't know that." (14:32)

"Here is one right here. United States. You take the number of cases, now look. We're last... meaning we're first. We have the best." (14:40)

"Because we've done more tests, we have more cases." (16:21)

On Russian bounties:

"I think a lot of people. Uh... if you look at some of the wonderful folks from the bush administration - some of 'em not any friends of mine - were saying that it's a fake issue. But a lot of people said it's a fake issue." (16:50)

"I have never discussed it with him, no. I would. I have no problem with it." (17:14)

"I read a lot. You know, I read a lot. They like to say I read a lot. I comprehend extraordinarily well. Probably better than anybody that you've interviewed in a long time. Ah... I read a lot." (17:57)

"The world is a very... ah... angry place, if you look all over the world." (18:24)

"Well, it's a di... I'm just saying, yes. We - yes - no, no, I'm just saying we did that, too." (19:17)(On supplying weapons to the Taliban.)

"Let me just tell you about Russia. Russia... used to be a thing called the Soviet Union. Because of Afghanistan, they went bankrupt, they became Russia. Just so you do understand, okay? The last thing that Russia wants to do is to get too much involved with Afghanistan, they tried that once it didn't work out too well." (19:51)

On mail-in voting:

"So we have a new phenomenon, it's called in... it's called mail-in voting." (23:05)

On protests in Portland:

"Our law enforcement. If we didn't have people at our courthouse. And there's strong, tough people and they don't want... they... they try and be very good, believe me. But if we didn't have people there, you would have your federal courthouse, six-hundred-million-dollar building, you would have that thing burned to the ground." (27:33)

"Now, do you know why they're unmarked?" - Why? - "Because these, uh... terrorists, these antifa people, these people that are anarchists and agitators, when they see the name on a uniform of a s... of a person, of a policeman, a law-enforcement person, they find out where that person lives and then they go and they scare the hell out of the person's family. And so... they do it for that reason, it's just common sense, there's nothing secret about this." (28:27)

"No, I think that actually the... I think antifa should be investigated, not the law-enforcement." (29:52)

SkinnyPupp 08-04-2020 06:27 PM

Also "I did more for the black community than anybody with the possible exception of Abraham Lincoln"

You think you did more than Lyndon Johnson, who passed the Civil Rights movement?

"I think I did, yeah"

WutFace

My remark about her being innocent until proven guilty wasn't in regard to trump wishing her well, but unit calling her a child rapist (didn't know she got off on a plea deal tho)
