Also any thoughts about Trump informing the oligarchy (oil company execs, for example Darren Woods, of Exxon) about the attacks, while not informing congress?
This whole thing is so troubling, as a Canadian it feels more and more scary. I doubt we'd ever see a military effort against Canada, but it certainly feels like the US is trying to crush us economically, American firms have been scooping up Canadian companies more and more, including owning a bunch of these ridiculous data centers that are popping up.
It seems like the federal government is attempting to pushback to a small degree, one of my clients is a defense contractor here in Canada that was recently purchased by an American firm, that purchase agreement still hasn't been signed off by the feds, its been in limbo for almost a year now sitting on someone's desk (we believe on purpose).
Curious if we'll see more of this.

I hope that if Cheeto does try and do anything to Greenland that the House of Representatives would revolt, Dems and Reps alike. The Senate would rise up and stop this clown and the whole international community would sanction the US. It would be effin insane to try and invade and take over a peaceful country with absolutely no justification other than, 'we have to have it.' This would be on par with Russia invasion of Ukraine.

This video that was just prior to the shooting makes the situation way worse, at least in terms of how I am seeing it: https://www.reddit.com/r/law/comment...t_in_the_face/
It looks like she was just trying to get out of the way for the passing ICE cars. the second car stops thinking she was trying to block them.
When they get out to investigate, they reach into the car which freaks her out; she backs out trying to drive away. and thats when they shoot her.

Curious to see how ICE and HSE will spin this incident in their favour and get off scott free as usual.

I didn't listen to the audio (if there was any) but at a quick glance, I saw it as her trying to evade ICE for non-compliance, kind of like "fuq da police" sorta attitude, purely based on how she was driving and the interactions with ICE officers. I hope I'm wrong?

At that point, at worst, she's scared and tries to get away. At best, she's responding to the Gestapo and starts moving when the ICE guy panics and starts shooting.

It’s also interesting that they don’t talk about Mexicans anymore, or the border, or “illegal criminals”. Instead, Trump and this goon squad are going from city to city, intimidating immigrant communities and legal citizens.
And I wouldn’t be shocked if they’ve hired J6ers and other degenerates without proper sceening, because there’s a video floating around on X of someone confronting one of these ICE agents without a mask, and he had a Nazi SS on his neck. They're no longer hiding it.
