| racist customer at my job.
Had put merchandise away in my new job and walked in between him and merchandise he looking at in the pharamcy aisle.
He said where your manners harhsly and i said sorry quietly as im an employee there as i walk out of the aisle he says quietly what and you people from china harsly, and i told him he was rude and he said i was rude as i walked between him and the merchanise he was looking at. the aisle wasn't wide anyways at the store. i do it all time and no customers ever say this stuff
told manager and he just said let it go. talk about having a bad day and feeling shitty
have you ever had this happen to you before like a racial incident and what did you do and tell me about it
i find most asians are passive anyways. i bet he wouldnt do it to indo canadians or black ppl as you get filmed or talked back just as hardly or worst. asians are too quiet and polite and thats how we were raised, we dont speak up much

id honestly say make better choices in the future and use your head to avoid these situations.
Why walk between a customer and the merchandise as opposed to walking down the next aisle?

Sure. I’ve had white people be racist to asians and look at me and go “pishhh, immigrants amirite?” But my whole family are immigrants from England, so I take that offensively.
I’ve had lots of people at my work (asian) request that another asian person work on their car in be shop instead of me (white) even though I’m the lead hand with way more experience.
Racists are everywhere and everyone. Grow thicker skin, and don’t get into an argument with idiots. You can’t win

I don't know where you work, but I've never been at a workplace that has tolerated customers actually being racist on the premises without a warning or flat out being told to leave. I'm white, I've never been profiled, but the places I've been have a gtfo attitude with that kind of shit.
It became apparent that one of the customers in our store one day was a neo-nazi from his speech, spouting off about the aryan race with... other parties in the store. Owner took out that trash asap.

As for your comments about Asians being passive, I do not agree with OP.
I do not back down to bullies and will confront people if they say or do something offensive.
For example, this idiot who thought that he was so tough driving his big truck was honking his horn at me while I am stopped at a red light with my right turn signal on.
It is rush hour on a Monday afternoon so there is heavy oncoming traffic on East Broadway in Vancouver.
That motherfucker honks his horn non stop because I am not making the right turn despite so many oncoming cars on east Broadway.
I'm thinking "WTF????" 
Then I make the turn when it is green light. I stop on Broadway. That motherfucker in the driver rolls down his window to start yelling at me.
I yell back and tell him "Calm down idiot! Did you not see the oncoming traffic?"
Motherfucker yells back "Are you a new driver? Did you just get your licence?"
I yell back "Learn how to drive! Fuck you! Fuck you! Motherfucker!"
The fool in the truck looks scared and surprised by response. He rolls up his window. I drive away.
Who the fuck yells at an another driver to make a right turn when there was so much oncoming traffic?? It was definitely not safe to make the turn but that motherfucker chooses to be aggressive anyway.
OP, I'm not saying you should pull a Nick Fury like me and yell "Motherfucker" at that guy.
If the situation escalates with that customer harassing staff or worse other customers with racial slurs, you need to tell your manager ASAP. Do not back down to bullies or racists like the one I encountered on the street.
