The video begins with the customer screaming and attempting to break away from several staff members.
At one point in the video, she looks as if she’s being grabbed and pulled; there are also instances where she can be seen flailing her arms and/or kicking the employees.
The woman explains that the employee who provided her nail service “did a horrible job and she won’t fix them.”
She also offers at one point to pay for 50% of the service, commenting that “[she’ll] have to get them redone” later and that her nail technician “didn’t even finish her toenails.”
That same employee replied back that the customer was very happy up until the point of seeing the polish colours used and then “began to hit her.”
The altercation continues as two men approach the salon and attempt to open the door.
Shortly after another physical exchange, one of the men makes a phone call while the other films the conflict from outside the salon. The video cuts off shortly after.
Chilliwack RCMP have not yet released a statement at this time.
Lol saw this. Everyone shitting on the business
I think that's unfair
The girl acts like she's 12. She abused the workers too
They both called the cops. Cops said dont let her out. Cop came and made her pay 23 bucks
People on FB saying that's umlawful confinement

Even if it's not unlawful confinement, the business is going to risk a shitload over $23 ... They're fucking retarded.
Pay before getting the service. That way, the roles would actually reverse in this cougar's instance. She wouldn't leave due to bad service. Then the shop could call the police and have her removed.
The way it is right now is forcible confinement. I'm not siding with this barefooted ratbag but in the eyes of the law (and possible civil suit), she'd be in the right I think.
All that said, Chilliwack needs to be buried by the mountainside...
Whats funny is that her male companions would have probably broken the door\window down or continue to see her freak out rather then pay the small fee through the doors mail box.
If the customer truly felt she wasnt entitled to pay she should have waited for the police like a civilized person.
Was hanging with a guy that ran up a big bill at a bar and the security wouldn't let him leave until he paid.
All the people inside that salon should be awarded money for emotional trauma.
That business is fuckin stupid to hold her there, risking multiple assault charges and forcible confinement over $23.00? Just accept a bad customer experience and let them walk any time that happens and don’t serve her again, end of story.
I agree she should just pay with no tip and complain afterwards, but if what she is saying is true that she was asking for a fix and the nail lady went wild on her then I can see how it’s beyond any reason at that point... business is totally stupid on this one with their actions.
To be fair, both sides are trash. Trash meets trash this is what happen. Lol. Small situation escalated out of control. Good thing the dad didn't proceed to "break down the door". Who knows what else could have happened.
^yep.. in business, sometimes you win sometimes you lose... as long as you're collecting 99% of the payments, the 1% that does harm to your image is just part of the cost of doing business.

Miss r/trashyboners should've just coughed up the $23, chalk it up as a loss, and complain on social media or whatever after all's been said and done.
It's like being dissatisfied with the food at a restaurant. Do you just walk out? No, because it's theft. This kind of service is subjective too; what's stopping everybody from claiming that they're not satisfied in order to obtain a free product/service?
However...
Forcibly confining someone is a lot more appalling than theft. They're both in the wrong but Du Ma Nails is gonna get the brunt of it, whether it be the judges on social media or an actual judge
Then when people steal from malls they should be able to leave right?
The way she was lashing out the owners couldve used a taser on her. What if she did that to a cop... they wouldve slammed her head first into the pavement.

Yeah, except this wasn't stealing. The customer told them she'd only pay half because she was dissatisfied with the job and she'd pay full price if they fixed it.
Okay but what 3rd party would decide on what is fair or whos right about stealing? I believe one of the clients complaints was the nails being uneven but the service provider said shes was lying.
The way the laws are set is for the shop to keep the client and police to make a report so that a resolution can be made then or in the courts.
