	   | How do gasoline, coolant, and engine oil stains from concrete driveway?

Error made in title: How do you remove gasoline, coolant, and engine oil stains from concrete driveway?
I'm using a 1600psi electric pressure washer and apparently just water doesn't work. . I tried using coca-cola, iron-off, and break clean. Break clean works wonders for the engine oil stains, but its not cost effective.

My strata is pretty lenient, but I think that gasoline stain was the last straw. The gasoline stain is the worst.

Another thread regarding prepping concrete floors used Muriatic Acid, and I might pick that up. Only issue is that it stains yellow. Any other recommendations?

 Thanks!

be careful using paint thinner on your driveway... if it's asphalt it may damage it.

I heard coca cola works Due to the carbonic and sulphuric acid in the soda
Surprised you said it doesn't work . Maybe need some more elbow grease .

 Try acetone ?

Powdered laundry soap, stiff broom, water. scrub scrub scrub scrub. let dry, pour kitty litter on it, rub the kitty litter in with your feet, let it sit for a day or two. repeat.

If nothing works just spot paint over the stains with some all weather matching grey paint.

Rough Rider 2 degreaser is by far the best product to clean up oil and stained driveways and the odd thing is not many people know about it. You can buy it on the Chevron barge in coal harbour but no clue where else you can get it from.Old Salty Rough Rider II | | | | | 08-17-2018, 08:28 AM | #15 | | RS Veteran

Muriatic acid, however it’s so good that it may leave a mark where you used it instead of the oil
Also don’t kill/blind yourself using it

Rent a gas powered pressure washer or hire a company that has one.
I've had oil stain on my family's properties, and nothing cannot be removed with commercial grade pressure washer.

I've used this stuff on motor oil before. Seemed to do a pretty decent job (though it didn't get 100% of it out)Oil Lift Oil Remover, 2-L | Canadian Tire | | | | | 08-17-2018, 10:34 PM | #23 | | RS has made me the bitter person i am today!

4000 psi and one of those pulsating nozzles. If the stain doesn't come out, you can just remove the top layer of concrete... lol

Simple Green did work for me, but if the oil is penetrated into the concrete, it may not work. Some elbow grease and effort may be required to scrub it out.
Otherwise, try getting to the Chevron barge in Coal Harbour for the stuff murd0c recommended.
