Anybody updated to IOS 12? On the X battery has seen a a bit of an improvement. On my dad's 6 plus and ipad air 2 ios 12 runs smooth way faster than ios 11.

updated it yesterday, feels snappier, and I'm sure just a placebo but the screen feels more vibrant on the X after the update
still trying to figure out how to display Google Maps in-car...I wonder if the head unit also needs an update

After using it a day, when coming from the 6s Plus I don't find the max to be that big.
I think it's a good size, the screen is bigger for sure but I don't feel anymore awkward using it.

i got the xs, i even find it to be a bit heavy compared to the android phone switched from.
it feels nice but when you're lazy and in bed watching vids or browsing, your hands/wrists get a bit fatigued. maybe that's a good thing so i won't play around on my phone so much during bed time.

The only thing is the screen, its a lot bigger than your + phone and it can be a bit awkward to use. For example dictation is on the bottom right and if using my left hand its a bit of a reach to get there.
The OLED is good, coming from LCD screen you will see a big difference in contrast. I watched Black Panther on the phone and damn, was a great experience.

1250USD is roughly 1620CAD, BC price after tax is a bit under 2k from a quick math.
