Yup, ordered the $1000.00 gift cards. One minute into it. Waited a year for this, lol. Other than "Special Buys" and clearance items, nothing goes on sale, so the 15% off is a good deal. Plus, you can use it on their "Special Buys" as well.

All these Cyber Monday sales are just regurgitated Black Friday sales.

I'm hoping Boxing Day sales this year are better than the BF sales.

I'm waiting for the annual Audiopile Records Boxing Day Sale and hoping for a good deal on a cheap, valve (tube) amplifier. I hear, pun intended, ChiFi tube amps are getting better.

For bot vac, always pay more for a model that can map the room. So it can vac in a fraction of the time (15 min instead of an hour). Less noise pollution.

twitchyzero 11-26-2018 10:34 AM

schedule it to run when you're at work

LOL i also got the cheap PS4 bundle last year.. and was going to sell it off on CRAIGSLIST... some kid that had no credit cards/couldn't do online shopping was blunt :

"look i know you got it for 250, can you just sell it for that price?" and i really appreciated his approach and sold it to him sealed at whatever i paid for. he was a happy kid. saved me the trouble of returning it.

TouringTeg 11-26-2018 03:33 PM

Lol at the Spiderman flippers. There are 4 or 5 copies for sale on usedvictoria as well. No N64 classic to flip this year.

Koodo's deals were nuts - S9 was all sold out at $0 medium tab, S8 was all sold out for $0 medium tab less $150 worth of PC points, iPhone 7 were all sold out at $0 medium tab with $250 worth of PC points (final cost of ~$110) :fulloffuck:

The phones at Koodo wasn't free. They tack anywhere from $10-40/month onto your bill. I ended up making a deal with Rogers and staying with them. Free S9+ and iPhone 8+(for the wife) free. $155/ month for 14gb data, unlimited calling daytime and nighttime Canada/US wide. Roam like home dropped to $5/day. Free tablet and Microsoft 360(not actually sure what they're sending here..but I wouldn't be surprised if its 2018 version). Only downside is this is on share everything plan, but there's a lot of data to be shared for my wife and I.

yray 11-26-2018 08:25 PM

bought a brake fluid bleeder

$41 usd

Hehe 11-26-2018 08:51 PM

For PS4... unless you really want the Spider man game (which the market should be flooded after the BF sale), the Costco bundle you can pick up at any local Costco is a better deal IMHO.

For 299+tax, you get 1TB PS4 with "2" joysticks (seriously, who doesn't get a second one at least? :alonehappy: ), Horizon Zero Dawn (which is not a bad game. But it's a code instead of physical copy, so no trade in after) and 3mth PS Plus. The joystick is 50 on sale and the 3mth PS plus is easily another $15 or so. Making it cheaper than the Spidey bundle unless you really value the game, not to mention every Costco has stock. No need to hunt or anything.

Edit: Any deal on floor jack+jack stand combo?

I agree.

Rogers also has this built in to their plans - smart tab ($5/mo), premium tab ($10/mo), premium + tab.. etc they're just not so upfront about it.

If someone got the iPhone 7, it would be the $360 medium tab + 60*3 months of service - $250 in credit at TMS - $50 for any trade in for a final cost of $240. An even hotter deal if you're planning to stay with Koodo since you'd be paying for service anyways.

Personally, I have a corp plan w/ Rogers with grants unlimited LTE data, but not happy with the reception especially in central Canada. They spent all their money on Hockey Night in Canada instead of upgrading their network the way that Telus and Bell have done.
