I'd be up for a Heated Rivalry female version. It feels like there are so many examples of lady hockey Olympians get married.

Sweet, the Conservatives voted 87% in favour of not winning again.

Carney thanks them in advance.

Traum 01-31-2026 12:39 AM

Am I supposed to congratulate PP for winning the leadership review? or should I be congratulating Carney for winning the next federal election again?

I'd watch a Heated Rivalry show based on women's golf or women's tennis. Just for the writing of course.

Are there a high % of lez in women's golf and tennis as well? I just see it in Women's hockey.

I'm going to guess that Heated Rivalry is a hit with the ladies? I mean why would straight guys be watching that drama?

68style 01-31-2026 08:48 AM

It is specifically targeted at straight women... much like lesbian relationships in media are targeted mostly at straight males lol

Not sure the numbers but for a show that doesn't matter - there's no gay men in hockey right? There are some very fine women golfer and tennis players..my favourite being: https://www.instagram.com/lilymhe/?hl=en

I watched half the first episode and even for a pretty progressive guy like me it's a bit much but I imagine women love it. The book was definitely written for women though.

Wasn’t it PeanutButter who subscribed to a golfer’s OnlyFans only to find out it wasn’t the content he was hoping for? :lol

In what political world is that type of support acceptable when A) he lost in his own long time riding; and B) blew what was arguably a "layup" election for him to win??

CPC must have no one better or have their nuts trapped with their highly conservative base.

bcrdukes 01-31-2026 05:51 PM

Add to that, what appears to be a growing Alberta separatist movement.

Don't automatically assume there won't be thousands of idiots voting for PP. Did you guys learn nothing from what is going on down south?

Yup Conservatives on this continent LOVE backing losers.

DJT in addition to being a convicted felon, pedophile, and failed nepo-baby businessman lost the popular vote on his first try to a WOMAN and lost entirely to a geriatric. But hey, 3rd time's the charm right? That's what PP voters are probably hoping for.

Axe the Tax
Build the Homes
Lose the Elections

What's hilarious is that he got 87% of the votes in a vote where he was the only candidate up for the job AND where the people who voted had to pay $1000 to attend the event (and travel to it). People literally lit money on fire to show their disapproval.

68style 02-02-2026 09:57 AM

I like when his followers were posting photos of him in economy class of the plane saying he's a real man of the people not realizing (or admitting) that the entire plane was rented out for him and all his sycophants to fly to AB.

Carney won 86% against Freeland as the only significant opposition, but that was from a base of 150,000 responding voters.

PP's 87.4 came from a base of 3,000 voters. 3,000!!!!! And there wasn't even a nominated opposition hahaha

Fucking joke.

I hope all these mind fucked AB separatists aren't planning to cheer for Team Canada at the Olympics next week! That would be highly hypocritical. Or quite on brand in other words.

You also had to pay $1000 to vote for pp.

In retrospect, I tend to believe that Freeland wasn't really a serious candidate in the Liberals leadership race, in the sense that she wasn't really highly motivated to seek the top job in the party. Rather, I feel like there must have been some sort of tacit agreement between her, Carney, and/or the Liberals party that there needed to be someone of subtance to run against Carney to give the leadership race more credibility.

Still, the PP leadership review is really a big joke.

6793026 02-03-2026 10:50 AM

^ she didn't care and you were spot on. She was also god mother to carey's kid It was just to ensure there was a 'competition'. She's taken cared and I"m sure they are still friends and will get her pension for years to come.

CivicBlues 02-03-2026 02:50 PM

Not only that she's resigned her cabinet and MP position and got an unpaid job advising Zelensky in Ukraine, where her heart mostly seems to be anyways. Her pension will nicely cover the lower living costs in Kiev.
