Enough tidbits in here to normally bring out hondaracer from the woodworks.
1. Finally modified the senior property tax deferrals.
2. Higher income taxes yay
3. More PST on exempt services
4. Still didnt adjust luxury tax on cars to inflation
5. Government was drunk on real estate transactional fees and carbon tax revenues (Should have been used for I dunno, the environment instead of general revenues) that they are cooked now with a slowing real estate sector. Instead of acknowledging this they blame tariffs.
6. Can forgive some on the deficit on capital expenditures like the tunnel, patullo bridge, broadway + langley skytrain, st paul hospital, more health care spending etc
7. "We're not indebted as some on the other provinces!" isnt a good excuse IMO
8. Unpopular but they should bring back HST

Surprised this wasn't higher - if you're gonna do it (and they need to do it) they gotta rip the bandaid off and do it in one blow.

I'm a big big big fan of VATs and the HST is a good one.
