You can fail your MOT for rust too.
Bottom line, get your car from an enthusiast or well known dealer and you'll be fine. Buy it from someone shady and you'll probably be screwed. Same as anywhere.

It's super dirty it's just a shit cellphone snap but driving it for the first time since March was pretty nice. The softer front springs and Vibrant resonator are a huuuuuge improvement so thanks to everyone who suggested that and helped me sort out how to install it. 
My coworkers minty Audi for reference of how nice a black car can actually look lol.

70mi of twisties east of yellowstone...apparently one of the best drives in America

bearthooth highway (check the weather...photo was taken a week ago but there were already closures this week)

i had no cell service in the park so don't rely on google maps for travel time esp in the park, through haden or lamar valley there will be bottlenecks during dawn/dusk due to bisons on the road
on the way home detour a bit through idaho on US 12 from lolo pass to lewiston...it hugs the clearwater river and feels gold rush-esque during sunset...very worthwhile at least 2 hours of tight turns after one another https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Lolo...46.4004089!3e0
good idea to gas up beforehand, there are no stations in the first half
