i called it....told my parents canucks are gonna burn out and get outplayed...i just didn't think they could handle back to back games...unlike the goalie who kept them in last game...he put the effort in

I think LV is just that much better... and we did what we could to hang on and be opportunistic... trading rushes with them was NOT working in our favour... I really disagree with that assessment.
They're just a really fucking good team. They're going to roll right over Dallas, I watched the Dallas v Colorado series... the intensity level and speed of that series was so far below ours.

The way they pressure the puck in both zones I don’t remember watching ever
They deserved to win the game and the series. The most upsetting thing though is that you only get so many chances and if we could find a way into the conference finals, who knows what would have happened

We lost to the better team and The Refs didnt screw us. The only reason that makes this loss hard to swallow is that we had many opportunities to win this game. The better team doesnt always win and i was really hoping the Canucks were this years Cinderella story.

Honestly, the passing was off tonight and a number of the players just didn't have the jump they needed. They put on a brave face, but to me, the players looked gassed. It wasn't until the goal that they finally emptied the tanks and put some pressure for a couple of shifts.
The Canucks' best chance at winning this game was to strike early and let Demko play into Vegas' heads. If Lehner doesn't make that save on Boeser, it would have been a different game.
Vegas was really one shot away from one of the biggest upsets over the last couple of years. Demko nearly stole the series for the Canucks.

I have a feeling if Boeser scored that one, Vancouver would steal the series.
It's been Canucks strategy the last 3 games. Take the lead and shut it down.
Well, Canucks were lucky in Game 5 to tie it up quickly and then eventually get the lead. Vegas didn't even have a chance to play shut down hockey with the lead.
But definitely if Canucks took the lead again, Vegas would be on tilt the rest of the game.
But while Canucks had so many chances, this series overall was dominated by Vegas. It's almost a miracle it even went to game 7. I've never seen hockey being played like the last 3 games in all my life of watching hockey. 
I thought, ok, game 5 was a lucky win, they won't keep it up. Then they did the same thing in game 6 and won. wtf. Then the same thing in game 7 again.
TBH, I was kind of sick of watching this kind of hockey but I guess that's what Canucks had to do in order to stand a chance. Vegas really is on another tier. The entire Canuck team has to be so burnt out playing this style. It's so physically and mentally demanding.
