No, everyone had vacated the zone. Both puck carrier and other player had their skates in the neutral zone........... then the puck was touched afterward in the attacking zone. It's all about the stick touching the puck as it goes into the zone.
Think about vacating the zone, play.......... puck is in the attacking zone already and all players move out of the attacking zone. Then a player touches the puck later. It's all good. I guess like a delayed offside?.
Good eye, ref. I was all upset at first, too.
EDIT: Had the opportunity to see the play again. Puck carrier knew what he was doing. He pushed the puck ahead, not carry it in. Looks over to make sure the other player had vacated the zone before touching the puck. Nice!

this play comes to mind, and they keep emphasising on when the puck crossed the line when Landeskog is trying to get off the ice/tag up. Technically they should freeze frame to when mackinnon enters the zone no?

And.............. it begins. Huge losing streak. Injuries pile up and they can't adjust. You know Calgary's going to take advantage of the situation and rape the 'Nucks on Saturday. Seen it all too many times.
I'm hoping the coach comes through and works some magic. Maybe Boeser and Horvat might wake up/step up. The division is so tight.
