What is your ethnicity? Periodically members nationality slips out, and more often than not i find myself quite surprised. My mother was from Hungary. My father is half Italian, half Ukrainian. What is your origin/ethnicity/nationality? |
I've always found it interesting to find out peoples jobs/ethnicity/age on this forum. It doesn't put a face to the name but it does give a bit of an image of the person. Dad - Scottish Mother - Italian |
English/Merican. |
I was adopted, so I'm not sure how accurate this is. Apparently my birth father was Canadian with Norwegian heritage, and my birth mother was an immigrant from Germany. As far as I'm concerned I'm just a human LUL |
I’m the opposite of Skinny. Mom Norwegian, Dad German. Toss a sprinkling Scottish in there and you’ve got one stubborn SOB. |
1 Attachment(s) Attachment 30936 Sorry for the pic of my monitor - my parents couldn't figure out how to view the results so I made this for them. |

I'm as Canadian as you can get without being Native. My family is part of the original settlers into Eastern Canada. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brotherton-66 Here is half of my family, and where I get my name from. Adam and Robert passed down the line. My grandfathers name is Robert and his middle name was Adam. My sons middle names are Robert Adam As you can see my family has been here a long time. The other half is Scottish heritage. Berz out. |

I'm a 9th generation Canadian and United Empire Loyalist, which I identify much more with than those distant ancestries I posted earlier. |
I'll find out soon, submitting my 23andme kit this week. My parents are Mainland Chinese but their trees are broken 2 generations up (war). |
100% Finnish from my dads side and kind of that Uk blend from my moms side mostly Scottish I think her side was. My dad was always adamant he was pure Fin, as a lot of people from that area have some sort of Russian or Baltic background but he was sure he was pure fin lol he then did a 23andme testing and sure enough, he turned out to be 99.6% fin lol. Basically as far back as the gene could be traced it’s from that specific area and not a more Baltic regional area |
