Costco has/had 99% Isopropyl Alcohol by the case. (4 500mL bottles). I think I paid $11.99 for the case last week. I found Aloe Vera Gel at London Drugs Wessex today. $8.95. These two ingredients make gel type hand sanitizer. Tonnes of recipes on-line. London Drugs had hand sanitizer, but it was non-alcoholic, I believe. I'm not sure how effective they are. They also had "Wet Ones" travel packs 20 sheets for $2.99. Limit of two. https://www.londondrugs.com/wet-ones...-handsanitizer I went on Regency Medical's website Wednesday morning and found this. Bioclean Disinfectant by MedPro Defense® - 950 ml bottle $29.99. I ordered it right away. I missed pickup today as they closed at 4:00. Going to pick it up Thursday morning. I just checked the website and it seems they're all gone. I'm sure other places will have stock. Lysol wipes pop up here and there, as well. Just gotta keep asking and looking. You can make your own wipes using strong paper towels. I have empty Lysol containers. Cut paper towel roll in two and place in container, then add Lysol or other disinfectant into the container. Done. https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/entry/...G3Tx0-IWMy3X-K Oh, forgot. Costco Willingdon had a pallet full of Hydrogen Peroxide cases - same manufacturer and size as the Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol I purchased. $8.99 each, iirc. |
lysol wipes pop up quite often daily stock on Amazon. I been trying to find those wet ones travel or single packs everywhere and cant find them. gonna try my local London drugs when they open |

Be sure to check the labels on wipes and cleaners, I found most of the wipes we have don't actually disinfect anything so you may as well be using paper towel and water. |
The Wet Ones come in many flavours. The red ones are the best. Always sold out. I use them for emergencies that happen in the car. Like ice cream that melts onto your fingers (and other things, lol.). It says it's anti-bacterial, but I wouldn't trust it. Check out their website. Especially the FAQ link. https://www.wetones.com |
https://regencymed.com/?s=reusable+m...&sku=1&ixwps=1 Made in Canada reusable mask........... no rating, but it is washable up to 25 times. No idea what's the deal. It's looks like preorder. Damn expensive. |
Looking forward to the day when masks are so overproduced that companies are giving them away as free swag with their logo plastered on it like recyclable bags. |
I think masks, hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, etc. will keep selling. Nobody wants to be caught off guard, again. As long as wet markets and irresponsible governments continue to exist, that is. The world is not going to be the same after this.......... ever. |
^ meh.. SARS was the same effect... and then 10+ yr later.. everyone put it at the back of their minds as if nothign happened. |
I think this one is a little bigger than SARS............. schools didn't shut down, businesses didn't close down, etc. I don't think this pandemic comes close to anything we've seen, so far. |
SCORE!!!!!!!! Snagged me a case of Lysol Disinfectant Wipes. Costco Brighton Avenue. Plus, they’re on sale! $4.00 off. Limit of one. Pallet gone in 15 minutes. Lots of Isopropyl Alcohol. I think they bring out the Lysol Wipes every now and then the person at entryway said they had the wipes earlier this morning but all sold out. I get inside and see this big guy hauling ass with a pallet full of wipes. Did I mention he was hauling ass? Nobody could get one as he moved down the aisle. I knew where he was headed, so headed him off at the pass. |

canada post has fucked up a package from the US for me. went from where ever in the states to chicago, to vancouver, then to toronto and now is apparently back in vancouver 2 days ago but still hasn't shown up at my house |
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saska...hina-1.5568734 I can't seem to find the list of companies from the NIOSH site but does anyone know if he ones from Artscow are on there? |
Checked the list and pasted it below as well. The Artscow KN95 ones that come in a pack of 5, are not on the list. They are made by Fujian DaHong Industry & Development Co. Ltd. https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npptl/resp...SHresults.html Apologies for the formatting below, just copy and pasted. Spoiler! |
Still nothing from artscow 40+ days later. Going to contact them and tell them I’m going to initiate a chargeback on my credit card as the tracking number does not even work anymore. Even during these times 40+ days is excessive |
If anybody is in a pinch for gloves, masks and hand sani... Just wanted to share Price Pro on King George Blvd has... 50pcs surgical masks for 49.99 100 black nitrile gloves XL 12.99 50pcs poly gloves one size 3.99 10pcs vinyl gloves 3.99 500ml 75% alcohol hand sani 9.99 250ml hand sani gel 6.99 375ml hand sani distillery gel 12.99 (have to request from cashiers) + other various hand sanitizer sizes I can’t speak for the quality of the masks but we picked up the nitrile gloves, 2 packs of the poly gloves and 2 250ml hand sanitizer gel bottles. Haven’t opened them yet but for us, having something on hand is better than nothing. All proceeds from Price Pro I believe go to John Volken Academy (beside the building) which is an addiction treatment centre. From my understanding, the workers at this store are people enrolled in the rehab program who are trying to turn their life around. If you wanna check it out for yourself, address: 6911 King George Blvd. Hours are 10am-6pm. Closed on Sundays. I don’t know if they are open on Victoria Day. http://www.pricepro.org AG Hair is now producing hand sanitizer. Limit of 2 per purchase. Shipping is $10 I think depending on location (I live in Surrey and that’s what my shipping came to) AG Hand Sani Stay safe everybody :) |
Willingdon Costco has 50 masks for $39. They’re the ones their workers use. Not rated and non surgical ear loop type. Made in China. They had an entire pallet there. I got in during Seniors Hour. Huge line up at 7:45. I was about to give up, then it was down to zero by 8:15. Next time, I’m showing up at 8:30. |
Canadian Tire on Grandview Hwy has Canadian made hand sanitizers, as well as, chinese gloves and masks (although overpriced). The hand sanitizers are 80% alcohol and come in gel and aerosol. |
