If Badhobz could, he'd buy his wife from Costco and call her Kirkland. |

|
anything had any experience with Costco TVs? thinking of 85 inch or going full retard to 100in. (hisense). |
Their warranties are the best out there, if you’re not particular about a certain model they are the best retailer to buy a tv from imo |
I purchased the 100" Hisense...Love It! |
Where the fuck are you guys putting these 100" TVs? :lol |

Consider how the TV gets into the spot when you’re going that big lol |
Also keep the little protective strips for the screen, unless you never ever want to be able to move it again |
The 100" Hisense is a short throw projector with an ALR screen. TLC does have a 115 inch TV but it is only available in China right now. Linus/LTT did buy one and will be reviewing it soon. https://www.techradar.com/television...l-have-to-wait |
hisense / costco have custom installation from what i read online (free?) 2 guys come in and mount it for you... again, need to check if it's canada or usa i have no problem getting it in, it's just finding a mount... for 2399 100in ain't htat bad.. i won't have any 8k content but ps5 woudl be nice. |
So apparently with the CIBC MC, some of the cars are the “world” MC and this comes with dragon pass lounge access? This is the first I’ve heard of this but last night we were with some people and some of them had a card without the “world” branding but ours does? Will have to look into it more Edit* looks like it isn’t lounge access or passes it’s just discounted entry |
The World Elite class of Mastercard will allow you the ability to purchase entry to certain airport lounges, typically at $35 per person (usually USD.) I personally have never used the benefit so your mileage may vary. |
CIBC Aventura Visas have some complimentary passes through Visa Airport Companion Program which gets you into Plaza Premium Lounges. They pretty much let anyone in there now (lots of low AF cards getting complimentary passes). Recently the one at HND had a waitlist outside to get in because it was so full. And there were literal kids crawling all over the floor and under peoples chairs while the parents pack in as much food and drinks as they can into their bags like they were robbing the place. Also if you have a Mastercard World Elite card, you might be eligible for free in-flight Wi-Fi on select airlines. You get 12 sessions of 90mins for free, you can check here: https://redeem.boingo.com/mcsi/standard-faqs/ |
Now that traveling is a thing again, thinking of swapping my cash back card for something else. Or maybe swap my wife's TD Expedia card for something else that's better for traveling. Lugging two kids around ain't easy. |
Amex Amex Amex Amex !!!!!!! |
Did not know Costco carried fancy rice. Koshihikari "Sushi" rice. I purchased a bag last week and used it to make futomaki and inarizushi. Pretty darn good. It's short grain and Product of Japan. I always use Cal Rose rice (Kokuho Red, Sekka, T&T, etc.) and to save money, cheap long grain once in a while. I finally got to use the sushi rice setting on the Zojirushi. Too expensive for every day rice, but.................. |
Bought this thing today. It’s great !! Has an air compressor so I filled up all the tires that were low on air. https://i.postimg.cc/VkvFHdDc/A97-AD...9-Original.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/FK2GSNbX/FBFC32...8-Original.jpg Has an led light, jump start, battery bank and can plug in house hold stuff |

I signed up for this the other day because I need to make a larger purchase in foreign currency. Annual fee is waived for the first year, sign-up bonus (30,000 Scene points), 6 lounge passes, and a $125 rebate through Frugal Flyer. Not sure if I will be keeping it long term. Trying to figure out the best card for travel rewards at the moment since I fly multiple times a year for pleasure. It might be time to retire my cashback CIBC Dividend VI, although I liked how brainless it was for the past several years and the 4% gas/groceries cashback. |
