I've used the newer generation and it seemed sick, but not sure if there's better value. | We had the V15 detect from last last Christmas when Dyson was doing the combo sale with Rakuten. We liked it but the canister broke earlier this year and Dyson replaced the whole thing. The whole ordeal took like 2 months, partly on the stupidity of Purolator.
Dyson upgraded us to the new gen5 as a replacement at no cost. There's no trigger anymore as it's an on/off button on the back of the unit. There's pros and cons to it, but I do find that it's gotten a bit too heavy as a mobile unit. The sucking power is great though, I thought the V15 was strong, the gen5 is even stronger.

i do sorta like the vitamix design with the tamper lid, but i like that the blendtecs blades are blunt and you cant cut yourself cleaning it.
sounds like a fucking rocket though... i've contemplated buying an enclosure for it... | Same experience with our old vitamix. It was $500 I think way back then? Probably 15 years old. Loud AF. But it's also a tank. Blades are blunt too, just like yours. Love how it makes smoothies and blends ice into that perfect consistency. Oyster, black and decker, etc, could never blend ice like this mofo does.

My last Costco run, I shared a table with a friendly old white guy. I briefly mentioned the hotdog is sold at a loss and he immediately told me "No! They make money off of this!". I didn't want to argue with the guy so I just let it go lol.

I have a challenge for everyone in this thread next time you go to costco:
1. Price out enough westernized Chinese food to feed a family of 8 for a feast
2. Sweet and sour something is a must
3. Beef black bean broccoli of course
4. Chicken chow mein pho sho
5. Egg/spring rolls no doubt
6. Needs a vegetarian dish
7. Needs rice and won ton
8. Comes with a dessert
Price it out. If you were taking a family camping and wanted to blow everyone's minds with the first night of the most amazing Chinese food dinner from Costco, post the list here with the prices. GO!!!!!

Are you trying to do a trailer park Ching Chong themed potluck ?!! Dats racist !!!
Not Chinese since Costco Chinese food sucks total dicks. But you can do a pretty decent Korean bbq setup
1) marinaded beef bulogi is like 30 bucks. Enough to make probably 4 meals. For sure enough for 8
2) the big can of kimchi for 8 dollars. Goes well with the beef above.
3) cook rice and prosper.

Brutal punishment. Judge says no US Costco trips for this tax evader. How's a man supposed to take care of his family?
Canada finally gets tough on crime! This Carney govt is coming down hard on criminals now.

“Going shopping in the United States is not a compelling reason.” - Judge Kathryn Denhoff
What would Badhobz say?
Interesting that $25/month is the minimum payment towards the fine. This guy owes $2.1M in fines alone! |
