I use a FoodSaver from the 00s. Pretty solid. Not sure if the new ones are any good, but I doubt you need anything fancy. It just needs to seal and suck LOL.

I started getting into the Zwilling Fresh and Save. Too early to tell how effective it is, but I have two vacuum pumps, a whole whack of glass and plastic containers. The bags are okay, but the regular containers are pretty good. They go on sale almost every two weeks it seems. I started with their starter pack which was $99.99. I liked it enough that i bought another mini starter pack for $60.00.

Some containers go on sale for like $15.00 each. One i got for $9.99. I got the starter pack at the Forum at the PNE when they had their Factory Direct Sale.

I'm waiting for Gourmet Warehouse to have Global knives go on sale again on Black Friday week.

I use my foodsaver constantly.
Get the mason jar sealer:

and you have cheap, glass containers better than any proprietary container system.

If you're an infrequent user then any basic model will be just fine like the Foodsavers that Costco carries (like https://www.costco.ca/foodsaver-vacu...000118326.html).

But if you plan on being a more frequent user then you'd probably want one that has bag storage built-in, a cutter, stronger vacuum, and maybe even double sealing (though I've never had one fail).

Wirecutter recommends the Anova if you want more features: https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/r...vacuum-sealer/

saw the costco one and it had pretty hit or miss reviews but i guess you can always take it back if it sucks.

there was another one i found for not much more on amazon that had pretty decent reviews too

Dang, that's a killer price but it's odd that Costco chose to sell player's irons when most the bulk of the market is in game improvement irons - these clubs are for <10 handicappers when most of us shoot in the +20-25 range.

costco doenst care as long as they can get it off the shelves.
just like the road bike that they sometimes sell and ppl go crazy for.
its a 'northrock' which apparently is made in the giant factory, but it has a really weird and outdated mishmash of component choices.
i think it has like 23mm tires, and 12-25t cassette which hasnt been seen since maybe the 90s. also its only one size like a lot of walmart bikes.

my first bike had 34 in the front and 27 in the back and even that was pretty hard for me lol.

nowadays 32 in the back is standard for all but higher end bikes that are usually 30 in the back

i never rode in the days where 25 and smaller were a thing... must have been hard.

it's cause you're in toronto.
I ran that IGNORANTLY riding my first bike to whistler and it was stupid not knowing how to spin.

Then wisdom took over and i went over to 11-32 and that was too much but it sure helped doing triple crown as well as Mt Baker. Went back down to 11-30 and never needed anything else for Van.

I ran that in Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Toronto. I didn't like 32. Pain in progress.

I went at 9am. By the time I left at around 10 something, the lineup for inbound cars were past starlight casino entrance. The cops were even out in full force at all the intersections directing traffic.

Don’t need lids. Buckets make great helmets for low IQ activities
