Find me any car that's a couple of years used that isn't priced higher than brand new MSRP right now, basically impossible.

And since trollface mentioned a Golf R; I paid $43,875 pre-tax brand new for my 2018 Golf R with drivers assistance package (or whatever it's called) in August 2018. Drove it for 6 months and sold it for like $38,xxx. Fast forward 3+ years and that exact same car with 50k kms on it is worth more than that original MSRP. Crazy times indeed.
