I haven't seen enough of the other goalies to have an opinion. But if it's anything like football, only the last few weeks matter in terms of award voting, and that hurts his chances.

Hellebuyck should be out of the running too for his absolute shit playoffs
Bobrovsky hasn't exactly been spectacular either save for the first few games of the TBL series, he just has a very potent offense
Demko got almost as much wins as them and same shutouts with less games...

yeah, it's based purely on regular season performance. i'm sure all of those nominated would rather be playing meaningful hockey games instead of receiving that vezina trophy during the summer.

I'd be open to meeting somewhere! It's tough to find something not booked up... I managed to get a table at Canadian Brewhouse for Tuesday's game but that place is booked solid like as soon as the dates are announced.
Right now I'm just looking at watching at home tonight.

gonna be a viewing party at Rogers arena for Tuesdays game.
Stars on ice is changing their show to Monday.
tickets should be on sale for 10am Saturday, but not confirmed
make sure you hop on 5-10 mins before, so you can get into the waiting room quicker.
section 116-118 / 105-107 row 15 and higher is what I could recommend.
also, go an hour early to make sure no one steals your towel.

I assume they vote before the playoffs start, or it could unfairly influence people's decision, subconsciously.
This can be the same case for Hughes, as Makar is performing a lot better than him in the playoffs. Or at least on the stat sheet. I didn't watch the Avs series.

There's no excuse whatsoever for a coach to get involved with a fan. There are tons of security personnel lurking around the benches. If you have an issue with a fan, tell them, and they'll deal with it.
