In my opinion, he's not worth $8 million. He's a hothead, and down the stretch, he was pretty awful and took way too many undisciplined penalties.

Patterson’s question to Hronek about “why was it that the second half of the season your play curtailed? Is it because of injury?”
Hronek answered bluntly “ you named it. First half of the season I was producing. Second half I was not.”
“Why? If I knew the answer, I would do something different.”
“Well, we have been giving you space all year. We just need you to answer a few questions.”
“Well, what do you want me to say?”
“What do we want me to say?? If you say if I have injury, I said NO.”
Patterson needs to accept the answer from Hronek. Hronek said that he does not have an injury.
Not using an injury as an excuse, because he does not have an injury.
I mean, the defenceman just finished playing a game 7 two days ago. Does Patterson expect Hronek to give a complete critique of his game for the entire season? These things take time for players to step back and think about in terms of their game.
English is Hronek’s second language so if his answers across as overly blunt and negative, then I think that some of it has to do with a bit of a language barrier.
Heck, if I was in Hronek’s shoes and Patterson asked me that same question , I would answer “ Jeff, I don’t have an answer about my second half performance now. These things take time for reflection. I don’t know. I do not have an injury.”
However, Hronek is ESL so he may not be as articulate with his answer the way that Patterson would like it to be.
Vancouver media haha. Hronek may come across as difficult from this media Q and A .
Patterson comes across as a douchebag reporter haha. :

I assume there is some language barriers with Hronek? He did answer Patterson question though. Anyways it's still better than Petey's interview where he just ignores questions or refuses to answer or you get the death stare.
Saw Allvin interview as well. He said he was not satisfied and not happy. I guess he knew game 6 or 7 was winnable if they played with more urgency and effort. I mean if they were tired, then they are not winning any cups, because "It was ONLY round 2." lol.

See how stars do in 2nd match-up
watching McDavid and the team rush the net offensively and Stars trying their hardest to control the play was crazy. they looked behind in speed level.
it was a close game near the middle i can say that.

I can't fathom why any Canadian would cheer for the fucking Dallas Stars, or the Panthers, playing out of a state that doesn't even see ice anytime of the year.
Fuck outta here.
Oilers have a Canadian generational talent the likes of Gretsky, they will always get my cheers while they're in the playoffs.
