Cxechia 3 Canada 2 in the Quarter Finals of World Juniors ... there goes all the dreams and hopes of this group of World Jr's. I'm sure the weight of the world was on the Canadian team to win this ... they always are expected to go to finals.
Anytime this tournament is overseas seems like interest falls off a cliff, even moreso in the last decade or so. I haven’t even seen highlights of this years tournament.
On a Canucks note, got tickets for Canucks VS Knights in Vegas in April. Just got a brand new black skate Hughes jersey for Xmas.. wondering if I’ll wear it there or not lol..always very hesitant to be a fan of the opposing team, especially in the states lol

wear the Canucks jersey in Vegas, you have nothing to worry about. I wore my Canucks jersey at ESPN zone in Chicago when we were playing them in the playoffs years ago..
I wore my canucks hat on our Disneyland trip last time and ended up making friends with a Ducks season ticket holder. I feel most US cities are quite used to seeing different team jerseys/paraphernalia a lot to not make scene. Unlike my friends from Gatineau,few weeks back during the NJ game, they got hassled and racial slurred which almost a fight broke out. Security had to intervene and escort the other group out.
It was a great first period but then they let off the gas for the next 40 minutes. Lucky it was the Sens otherwise a better team would have tied it.
Post game Toch wasnt happy after the 1st and JT was also not happy. Great to see they acknowledge that they played like shit after and need to improve.
That was such trash by the refs... TB lost the game by 1 too
I know the goalies are encouraged to put it back in play when there's no imminent pressure... but he held that for like 3 seconds at least... if anything the whistle should go for delay of game against Montemblows

What’s crazy is how quickly everyone’s completely forgotten all the old clowns who used to be so prominent. Pratt, Sekeres, Price, etc. Rintoul even is an afterthought.
Brook ward was filling in during the holidays and I actually don’t mind him because he’s fairly engaging and always takes calls from all the old timers lol
