The thing I like about RS (other than all you delinquents) is that it hasn't changed when everything and everyone else has. It's still really active with a large group of members that have been here for 10+ years and which has been said already it's not about memes but actual content weather its good or annoying AF.

It takes me back when I first got my new 01 Civic looking for rims working my first full time job with money to spend and who in the hell thought most of us would still be here 20+ years later.

It's the comfort knowing no matter how crazy and messed up life is you can still pull up on your browser, click on RS and nothing has changed other then we all weigh more have less hair that isn't as dark as it used to be.

Who ever is paying for the bills all of these years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's really a selfless thing to do and is really something special this day and age.

I'm kind of surprised this topic hasn't been brought up a long time ago and feel shamed I havn't really thought of it until this thread was made.

I've always been a lurker since my East Van high school days back around 2003. I think I found this site through vancouvercivics.com lol.
I've relocated to the Fraser Valley 10 years ago, I still lurk on here because it feels a lot of us on grew up in the lower mainland and are in similar life stages. We can relate.
I wouldn't change a single thing about this website. The world is getting too complicated, too fast.

Same here. I've only been to one, it would've been a spring meet in March 2011. I came down for the meet + to test drive another GTFour RC and to check out the one I ended up buying off a guy in Coquitlam.

I lurked in HS in the mid-2000’s but it showed i didn’t join until whenever. I swear I used to have an acct but nothing was tied to my email ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I remember one of the first meets at Langara, fuck we were literally racing through neighborhood streets playing “keep up” to see who had a fast car lol
