In the end, he was like everybody else. I remember a time he had some issues and reached out. Got some advice and was appreciative. |
My best memory from RS was the call out thread on myself. It really changed how I treated people online.. Until then, I saw everyone as kind of cartoon characters, and being called out forced me to change my perspective that people online are actual people, and should be treated like that. Until they prove they deserve otherwise of course Kappa I still struggle with putting things bluntly or being too sarcastic like I am living in my own single cam sitcom, but I try. I always try... There were some posts in there, from someone who isn't around anymore, that were very self revealing as racist though. With regards to why he thought I moved to Asia. I'll remember that as much as anything, because I have met people just like him (and who he assumed I was). The inherent superiority white people have is very much ingrained in their heads through centuries of conditioning, and they need to work to get it out. |
"Omg you're the Element guy?" Too bad it's gone. No more storing hookers in the back :alone: EDIT: is it too late to pay for a big avatar LOL |

I remember jason00s2000 or marco911 had some epic flame wars with the OG brown baller ws6ta. I think ws6ta rolled up to a RS meet in his murcielago which was boss |

I'd still buy a V8 S80 though. That Yamaha V8 is :sweetjesus: Anyway back on topic: I joined at the peak of the 'good ol days' so I've been to my fair share of meats. I'd love to help out and buy a signature/large avatar, and maybe a sticker if that's possible. Still got my lanyard(s), RS sticker is on the SAAB I sold :( |

Holy, that thread brought back some good memories. |
Damn CiC got his own little mental stability sub-forum going on there :lol |
Man imagine if that same conversation happened on facebook, you would get cancelled so fast from the pitchforks from the SJW. Totally forgot about AJ racing, now all the fobs are about SR auto |

https://www.revscene.net/forums/6608...ads-posts.html In regards to AA, it was definitely the first "social media" for me. It was also the place where I think I first started to learn that Asian pride was even a thing. Growing up in Alberta, that didn't exist. I, too, earned enough points to get the hat, keychains and even the little tote bag they had available. People used to write scripts to automate the points accumulation and gamed the system lol. |
Go to Fight Club and sort by views. Shit ton of classic threads! |

Cuz Mitsubishi is a garbage car company and used car dealers just sign up to be one and keep like 3 models on hand to lend legitmacy to their actual business? Kinda like Applewood "Nissan" in Langley lol |
