Mini cruise yesterday. Fun to go out for a drive with the top down, also all the kids seemed to enjoy the noises that the S2K makes lol

Badhobz 04-15-2024 05:16 PM

what noise!? those things actually make noise!?

god those cars are almost 20 years old and they still look fresh. car design peaked in the 90s and 2000's. everything modern is so bleh..

SkunkWorks 04-15-2024 08:28 PM

Was technically mine for 5 days. Loved absolutely every single minute of it. The corolla we get here is nowhere near as good.

Moar!!

How did it compare to other stuff you've driven? Was anything unexpected?

underscore 04-15-2024 10:09 PM

I'm curious what makes it so much better than the Corolla.

Badhobz 04-16-2024 05:45 AM

yeh its the same engine. just the ratrolla's a tad bit bigger. I heard people complaining about the GR Yaris's seats (you sit kinda high)

JDMDreams 04-16-2024 10:40 AM

It's way lighter, like 300 pounds, and shorter wheelbase. That's like 3 Japanese girls :ifyouknow:

Badhobz 04-16-2024 11:26 AM

psssh.... 300lbs!? thats like 1 of me. i see no advantages here.

That’s all modern hot hatches. They all have high seating positions

you need a V12 Ferrari to warm up. :fuckyea:

68style 04-19-2024 08:39 AM

Ferrari doesn't allow people with mere "carports" to purchase their vehicles. Enclosed garage only.

Badhobz 04-19-2024 08:40 AM

^hahahah!!! hilarious.

JDMDreams 04-19-2024 09:58 AM

Revving to redline will help it warm up faster

Interesting PRS has always said, always warm up the bike before riding off, apparently the magic number is like 40 to 50 degrees Celsius... having said that, the bike warms up pretty fast, by the time I fit my helmet and gloves, we are basically there.

In the summertime, the moment you crank the bike (from overnight parking), and its already like 27 degrees loool

the short window of great weather that we put up with all the downsides of living here

bcrdukes 04-19-2024 09:50 PM

Is that an awning on the roof?

twitchyzero 04-20-2024 12:08 PM

270 degree freestanding one
got some comments on how easy it looks to open and stow
very well built but my biggest gripe is being enticed into buying as walls with mesh windows were coming, just doors unfortunately
