But if you drive a modified SUV and hang out in a big group where they may go target them, then it's totally up to the power of the cop to ding you for even the most minor things you can think of. I know some people that got towed for a dvd player in car, another total oem JDM got a warning because his license plate wasn't aligned correctly. That sort. |
So... back in Jan of 2021... https://i.imgur.com/8JV9sGM.jpeg And this past Thursday I got the call.....(original deposit put down Nov 2022, 3 days before official debut) https://i.imgur.com/L2p9d9p.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/r15oWfT.jpeg rippp 56K or the 28.8K lolol here you go Badhobz... this is as good as my S21 will do lol, my DSLR has so much dust that the battery is dead .... https://i.imgur.com/9VOMXAn.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/BUU0Cfq.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/yJvDb2g.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/o5WCamX.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/yKauXdV.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/a2DFk5a.jpeg Math also kinda worked out... Due to the trade in of the original Ioniq Hybrid in 2021, I paid $37K after tax brand new for my 2021 Prius Prime. 3 years later with 31K on the odo (I know low KMs, no accidents), including tax savings, Toyota managed to pay me a touch over $35K (trade value $31,2XX) The new 2024 Prime was also bought under employee discount (I asked, no GT3s) (so no fees at all except the govt fees, actually out the door price is still a couple hundred bucks below Toyota.ca pricing) Oh and yes...befriending the insurance agent that always come to your dealer has its perks lolol~~ 1 thing I didn't expect was insurnace though... fook me...it went from $2100 to $3000 and imma like.... foook... dont be like me, do research in all areas before saying yes to the sales on the other end lolol (I didn't have the balls to tell wifey what the new insurnace is, its okay, comes out of my account anyways lololol) Biggest upgrade for the wife is... wireless android auto, longer range, front + rear ultrasonic parking sensors Biggest upgrade for me is... car is no longer slow, dare I say kinda fast... and sunroofs? ngl, hoping the prime will be like the last one, hold good value in the next 3 to 5 years until I find something else lolol |
gawd damn does that new prius look good. take some interior shots Mr Dark! |
Damn... $2100 to $3k... Did you check with your insurance agent about how much it'd cost to renew the insurance on your old Prime? |
Didn't check because baller. |

The windshield rake is crazy though.... it is even more dramatic irl Lowering springs are only like $700 to drop it to 1 finger gap... then 10mm spacers all around? I promised my wife I wont touch her car.... Stolen of Prius Chat Spoiler! |
Why u need prius if you have a tesla? Or vice versa? Just jam em kids in the back |
Tesla is purely a GVRD vehicle. Prius is the road trip vehicle. Also eliminating gas calculations altogether... leaving basically only insurance cost for transportation is also a pretty good feeling lolol |
LOL~ that Prius on Tesla wheels is some awesome trolling |
I dream of the day where I can post on Revscene confidently where *insert car here* is purely a GTA car only. :ahwow: |
Yea those black wheel arches makes it total 4x4 looking like the wrx |
The last gen Prius Prime is a better car - the interior is much better built and more spacious for the rear passengers. I had a 22 PP and my parents have a 23PP. Also, the rear door electric door unlock isn't responsive at all - there's a slight lag before you can open the door. Also, trunk space isn't a big upgrade either. |
will always be jelly of i3 and prius prime having carbon composite the new mr2 better have some |

Interesting about the build quality, I have low standards so maybe that's why I didn't notice. I think the new car is nth to write home about, but defn smaller panel gaps/better finishes than my Tesla. I thought it was same same, kids love the new ambient lighting though. Me + Wife are both android phone users, so the last gen PP with the CarPlay only (No android auto) support kinda sucked for us, so the new wireless Android Auto was a welcome upgrade. The HVAC now all have physical tactile buttons instead of being buried in the old gen touch screen was also a good upgrade. I cant tell you about rear seats at all because I just realized I never sat in them, not even once... my kids havnt complained at all since the upgrade though, they were dazzeled by the glass roof, though my daughter did say the model 3 roof is still miles better. I guess the smaller rear space doesnt affect elementary kids? Trunk space wise, I don't think it changed at all (as long as you dont look at specs). I was cheap, and actually used the last gen rubber trunk tray, it actually lines up 95% of the seams, correct width and length down to 1/8in, just the wheel well shape is slighty different. I dont think it is any deeper? I will comment that I think the rear visibility did decrease gen over gen though, and you do lose the full carbon trunk, which is a bummer~~ Other than above, the other 2 major upgrades were the speed the EV range **doesnt hurt that my 2021 held such good value that upgrading was essentially just a small jump rather than taking on alot of negative equity~~ EDIT - Did your parents get 2 keys for their 2023 Prius Prime?! This pissed me off lol... only 1 key lolol, they said 2nd new key will be given within 6 months lol |

The new Prius seemed like such a cool design/shape to me when it came out, leaps and bounds better than any previous Prius... but already within half a year it looks kinda terrible to my eyes. I can't quite figure out what went wrong with it. |
YOUR EYES!! the problem lies with yerrrr eyes me hearty ! yar har har |
