Don't blow up the core, they were up 2-0 in the series and 3-1 in game 3 and they won game 6 with a shutout. This is after losing their goalie who is one of the best in the league. Things fell apart against the defending champions in the final game, but a loss is a loss. Just need to tweak the right things to get everything clicking at the right time.
I get that it is frustrating as a fan for the same thing to happen every year, but it's close to working every year. Every other team except one can say the same thing every year.

They will never be contenders with their current structure. Their fans can make riot comments all they want but at least Vancouver has made a final in the last two decades.

LOL oh boy, just watched those highlights. That was straight up PATHETIC! Definitely FML times again.
Core four didn't accomplish shit (again), Marner now walks for absolutely nothing, and it doesn't seem to matter who they plug in to this group. They are done. They have to be. How could they possibly try to justify keeping this team together anymore? It's been a decade of this over and over and over again.
Yeah, it sucks to be a Canucks fan but I'd still rather be that than a Leafs fan. Talk about misery.

I'll be first to admit that I'm a Leafs hater but I also felt bad for them and didn't dump on my friends in 416/905. Even Brad Marchand, ultimate Leafs rat felt sorry for them and complimented the team afterwards. So did Paul Maurice. The souls of these Leafs players were crushed.
And anyone who uses the cliche, 'only 1 team gets to hoist the Cup' doesn't get it. You cannot lose 5-0 and 6-1 in game 5 and 7 at home. It's a lack of effort and heart, it's psychological, it's team chemistry. They don't have the right kind of playoff players period. If you lost game 5, 2-0 and game 7, 3-2 in OT ... maybe you can say that, 'they are a good team, they played their hearts out, blah blah blah.' This team had to get past round 2 in order to consider any improvement from last yeat. So many calls in the past to blow this core up, if they don't this time, NHL should really take this franchise away from the owners. They are incompetent if they don't clean house starting with Shanahan.
