well i blame the cellphone. its too overly sharpen, everything is in focus, and overly processed HDR.

its refreshing looking at this instead.

Funny how Matsuda has a filter, mine is probably lens fungus that's causing it to look so soft hahah.

red kryptonite 05-22-2025 06:03 AM

^you went birding ?

headhunt3r 05-22-2025 08:04 AM

Gates were closed :( I did not go birding but I learned about the park.

Traum 05-22-2025 09:40 AM

You're blocking traffic!

I thought you can't just go bird watching. You need to make a reservation days in advanced, and if you're a fair weather person like me, then by the time the weather looks good enough to go, all the reservations have already been taken up.

headhunt3r 05-22-2025 10:08 AM

I took that one shot and then a car rolled up and I had to run back into the car haha.

radeonboy 05-22-2025 10:22 AM

Next RS meat should be at Iona/Westham Island since we're all apparently geriatric. We can compare our penis lenses and stalk birds at the same time.

I got back pain just typing that.

And I took the Taycan down some logging roads to camp with the kids/friends. Air suspension is so damn good.

Dbone - For the rooftop box, does the overhang of the box limit your field of vision towards the top of the windshield/roof?

No, I think it looks like that because the view is from below. It doesn't go much beyond the front of of the roof. That is the XL size, and I think it's just right. I wouldn't do the XXL though.

Everyone says SUVs are good for when you have kids because it's easier to get them in. But, I find a 2 door is easiest because I can just take one step in the back and lean over to get the belt in.

It's probably not the same with an infant, but once they face forward it's way better.

Badhobz 05-28-2025 06:17 AM

how come on one here has a mini van!? i love mini vans!!!

o wait GS8 has a mini van, the best mini van. Thats why he's the best!

With an infant in a detaching infant seat, I found the M3 was easier than the X3 because I could lean on the edge of the roof and use that as leverage to lift the seat out. In the X3 I had to free lift a 35lb seat + baby out. And the lower position in the sedan means I can just bicep curl the thing out where as in the X3 I had to extend my arms up and out.

Now that the kids are both in forward facing seats it really doesn't matter. The SUV is for the seriously unfit parent who can't even bend down/lean over to strap the kids in.

What would really help is the sliding doors on a minivan which means a tight spot is no issue.

Rcubed or something…

bcrdukes 05-28-2025 11:45 AM

Yes, RCubed. He won Worst Dad of the Year at one of the Stock & Noob Meets. :D

Joking aside, super nice guy who often comes out to the meets with his family. :)

freakshow 05-28-2025 12:02 PM

Is there a minivan meet coming up?

JDMDreams 05-28-2025 12:19 PM
